The Obama Presidential Library was supposed to be a gleaming monument to “hope and change.” Instead, it’s a $700 million weird-looking concrete eyesore that resembles some Soviet grain silo that runs on DEI fumes. The project has been plagued with lawsuits, delays, design failures, and skyrocketing costs, and now, even Trump couldn’t resist calling it exactly what it is: a monument to incompetence.
Ouch.

When a reporter asked Trump about the disastrous Obama library, he didn’t hold back. Obama and DEI both got a knockout punch.

REPORTER: You’ve seen pictures of it?
TRUMP: Yeah, I did. Not too pretty…he’s stuck. He wanted only women and DEI to build it. That’s what he got! […] They’re hundreds of millions over budget…and that’s the way our country was run under President Obama too.

Trump wasn’t exaggerating. The DEI-driven construction project is burning through cash faster than it’s pouring that ghastly concrete, and Obama’s “inclusive” design choices have produced the ugliest monument in modern political history.

The entire project is a perfect example of the failures of both Obama and DEI. A double-whammy flop.
Most people hate the new Obama Library, without even realizing that it is the perfect example of DEI over merit.
The Obama Foundation selected an inexperienced black woman as lead architect, and committed that more than 50% of contracts would go to minority-owned businesses.
The result:
-> The design has been universally panned
-> Years of delays
-> $300 million over budget and counting
-> A $40 million lawsuit from a black-owned concrete subcontractor alleging racial discrimination after being blamed for defective work like cracked slabs and exposed rebar.

This homely library is DEI in concrete form: ugly, inefficient, and collapsing under its own weight. Obama’s “legacy project” has become a perfect metaphor for his failed and crumbling ideology… style over substance.
