Barack Obama has reemerged—and, once again, he’s dressed his censorship crusade in a slick suit and a reasonable smile. His latest pitch? A “new form of journalism.” Sounds harmless, right? Wrong. What Obama’s really describing is a government-controlled media machine, polished up and sold as “fact protection.”

For years, the left has insisted they’re champions of “diversity of thought.” But what they really mean is “diversity of opinions that align with ours.” Now, Obama’s taken it a step further, saying there shouldn’t be a “diversity of facts.” Translation: the all-empowered government will decide what’s true, and everything else gets scrubbed from the record, like Hillary’s hard drive after a bleach bit bath.

We’ve already seen what happens when the left plays gatekeeper of truth. Just ask the millions who were censored during COVID for daring to question the government’s cough-cough, science. Or those who were shadowbanned, deplatformed, and branded “Russian disinfo agents” for exposing the lies behind the Trump-Russia hoax, which, by the way, turned out to be entirely fake, top to bottom. Has the lying fake news ever apologized for spreading a hoax that literally tore the country apart? Did they ever come before the American people with a plan to make sure something like this never happens again? No, of course not. They have absolutely no accountability whatsoever and can lie at will, for years at a time, with zero repercussions. But hey, if you share the wrong meme on social media, Obama’s social media gestapos will kick your door in.

Here’s Barry explaining his latest experiment that he calls “new journalism.” Or as we like to call it, “state-sponsored media.”

Barack Obama says the quiet part out loud — it’s time to “experiment” with “new forms of journalism” with “government regulatory constraints.”

“Part of what we’re going to have to do is to start experimenting with new forms of journalism and how we use social media in ways that reaffirm facts and separate facts from opinion. We want diversity of opinion. We don’t want diversity of facts. That, I think, is one of the big tasks of social media. By the way, it will require some government regulatory constraints…”

Obama calls this “innovation.” The rest of us call it tyranny and gave the popular vote to President Trump so we didn’t have to deal with that type of censorship again.

There it is, folks. The quiet part was said out loud from Barry’s mouth. The left’s long game has always been to control the narrative through punishment.

As Mike Benz points out, this isn’t just an American problem; it’s an international censorship network. Obama’s been globe-trotting, prancing around the UK, where free speech has already been gutted into oblivion.

Obama’s power never came from governing; it came from manipulating. His power was reorganizing the world order behind the scenes, weaponizing institutions, and turning the lights off on anyone who dared to question him or his tyrannical plans.
