The images we’re about to share with you leave little room for doubt, and for Lt. Michael Byrd, the justice clock may finally be ticking. Until now, this bumbling man has gotten away with murder. And if you know anything about his checkered work past, you know that’s not an exaggeration. Michael Byrd is the very picture of incompetence, quite possibly the poster boy for DEI gone wrong, and his record shows it. Who can forget the time he left his loaded service weapon in a public bathroom? He should’ve been fired for that kind of DEI ineptitude.

Judicial Watch:

SCANDAL: Two years before Lt. Byrd shot and killed Ashley Babbitt, he was referred to OPR in 2019 for leaving his loaded service weapon in a bathroom in the Capital Visitor Center. At the time, Lt. Byrd was the commander of the House Chambers Section of the US Capitol Police, responsible for ensuring the House chamber was adequately patrolled. His weapon was left unattended in a public restroom for approximately 55 minutes before it was discovered by another officer. Byrd was suspended for 33 days without pay.

This isn’t the first time Revolver has dug into Byrd’s troubled past. Two years ago, we published an explosive piece exposing a key detail that speaks volumes about his character. Immediately after shooting Ashli Babbitt, Byrd made a false radio report.

Revolver:

The most horrific event of January 6th was the unjustified shooting of United States veteran Ashli Babbitt by Michael Byrd, an officer with a controversial past. He faced no consequences despite taking the life of an unarmed American woman.

One thing we do know is that Mr. Byrd made a false radio report immediately after killing Ashli Babbitt.

Chuck Callesto:

BOMBSHELL REPORT: After Shooting Ashli Babbitt, Capitol Police Lt. Michael Byrd Made FALSE Radio Report..

U.S. Capitol Police Lt. Michael Byrd, within a minute of discharging the bullet that fatally wounded Ashli Babbitt on January 6, 2021, transmitted a radio message asserting that he was under gunfire in the Speaker’s Lobby and declared his readiness to “fire back,” according to Federal lawsuit.

LAWSUIT:

“In fact, no shots were fired at Lt. Byrd or his fellow officers.”

“The only shot fired was the single shot Lt. Byrd fired at Ashli. He heard the loud noise of the gunshot. He saw her fall backward from the window frame.”

If Byrd’s fake radio report wasn’t bad enough, it’s just another chapter in a much longer book of incompetence and negligence. Judicial Watch president Tom Fitton has dug deep into Byrd’s history, and what he’s uncovered makes it even harder to believe this man was ever trusted with a badge and a gun, let alone placed in that hallway on January 6th. The Revolver piece goes on:

Will Ashli Babbitt’s family ever find justice? The depth of the cover-up surrounding her death is staggering. However, one thing seems certain: while Michael Byrd might never stand trial before his peers, the Capitol Police and the U.S. government are looking at a potential payout of upwards of $30 million for their role in that tragic incident.

Tom Fitton, the respected president of Judicial Watch, is championing the Babbitt family’s quest for justice.

In a recent interview with Steve Bannon, Fitton unveiled some disturbing revelations about Michael Byrd (the shooter on January 6th). Byrd was responsible for the fatal shooting of Ashli Babbitt, a 36-year-old who, according to the family, was trying to stop others from entering through a breached window. Fitton alleges that Byrd, known for his questionable and reckless professional history, is hiding even more damning secrets. Would anyone be shocked to hear that Byrd’s past is possibly more troubled than first realized?

It’s true; Fitton has uncovered even more ineptitude in Byrd’s professional past and has come to the conclusion that Ashli Babbitt’s death was not only unjustifiable, but it was also negligent.

Fitton breaks down the details with Steve Bannon on War Room:

And now, with the release of this new footage we’re about to show you, one thing is crystal clear: Michael Byrd’s story has been a lie from the start. He claimed he didn’t know the person he shot was a woman and that he had no idea she was unarmed. But all the video proves otherwise. He saw exactly who Ashli Babbitt was and exactly what she was (and wasn’t) holding.

Watch:

This newly released footage makes it undeniable: Ashli Babbitt was never a threat. She was literally standing there, surrounded by police officers who had a clear view of her and could have easily apprehended her if she’d posed any danger at all. But she didn’t. She was unarmed, not acting aggressively, and certainly not an immediate danger to anyone in that hallway.

And yet, Lt. Michael Byrd, a DEI misfit in every sense of the word, chose to fire into a crowd of people for no reason, killing an unarmed woman in cold blood. It was a reckless, cowardly act, and now the video leaves no room for excuses.

This is the key point, folks: if one of our soldiers had acted this recklessly on foreign soil, they’d be tried for war crimes by now.

Joshua T. Holser:

The video of Byrd shooting and killing unarmed Ashli Babbitt has been released. They coward Byrd shoots Ashli around 10 ft away with capital police literally behind her. If we did this on Iraq or Afghanistan we would be charged, rightfully so, for war crimes! Byrd is lucky he didnt shoot the capital police!

The problem now is that Biden has issued a blanket “auto pen” pardon for Michael Byrd.

Press TV:

Joe Biden, the outgoing US president, pardoned on Monday various officials and politicians, including Michael Byrd, the officer who killed protester Ashli Babbitt.

Other individuals who were pardoned include former representative Liz Cheney, former chief medical advisor Anthony Fauci, and former chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Mark Milley, among others.

The pardon also included members of the House January 6 Committee, which included police officers involved in the death of four people during the January 6 protests.

On January 6, 2021, Ashli Babbitt and three other protesters lost their lives during an attempted takeover of the US Capitol building.

Babbitt, who was a US Air Force veteran, died after being shot in the neck by Capitol police officer Michael Byrd. The footage of her death has been widely circulated among American protesters.

In his statement announcing the pardons, Biden said, “These public servants have served our nation with honor and distinction”. He also stated that the nation “owes these public servants a debt of gratitude for their tireless commitment to our country.”

That pardon would cover federal crimes related to the shooting, including any potential federal murder or civil rights charges. This means the DOJ and federal prosecutors couldn’t touch him, even when new evidence like this footage is revealed. However, that fake pardon wouldn’t stop civil lawsuits against Byrd or the Capitol Police or state-level criminal charges. The problem is, DC is not a state, and Byrd was acting as a “federal officer” inside a federal building, so it’s unlikely any non-federal jurisdiction could prosecute him.

This is exactly why the autopen pardons need to be challenged.

Clearly, it’s time for the Trump administration to dig much deeper into the Ashli Babbitt case and hold Michael Byrd accountable for what he did. The American people deserve the truth about what happened that day. More than anyone, Ashli’s family deserves answers—and Ashli herself, a US veteran who served her country, deserves justice.
