Disney has finally been smacked in the face with a reality shovel, and it’s gonna leave a mark. After years of shoving woke “girl boss” nonsense down everyone’s collective throats, the Mouse House is bleeding money and credibility like a raging river. The numbers don’t lie. Their Snow White disaster cost over $400 million to produce and market but barely scraped $143 million at the box office, putting them in the hole by well over $100 million. But the flops don’t stop there. The animated dud Wish was a $130 million dollar debacle. And let’s not forget the epic belly flop of The Marvels, which lost around $237 million and became the lowest-grossing Marvel franchise film in history.

Probably not the type of milestone they wanted to set, right? But here we are.

And there’s a heck of a lot more bad news for Disney.

The once-mighty Star Wars franchise has been hammered into the ground as well. the “force” is now woke and cringey, and as a result, Disney has alienated half the fan base with their goofy messaging and sloppy storytelling.

It’s gotten so bad that, as it stands now, they can hardly get a film off the ground.

Project after project keeps getting scrapped, and the brand that once defined adventure and excitement is now an embarrassing afterthought.

In addition, the once “sure-fire” male-driven superhero blockbusters are careening off a cliff, too. Captain America: Brave New World may have grossed $413 million, but thanks to sky-high costs and a plot buried in feminist hogwash and left-wing politics, it barely broke even, and fans walked away feeling “meh.”

So, what does all this chaos have in common? Simple. Disney forgot a huge chunk of its audience. It forgot men. It took the people who helped build the brand, young boys who grew into loyal fans, and told them they weren’t welcome anymore. And now, the fallout is impossible to ignore.

Recently, rapper Snoop Dogg slammed Disney for pushing LGBTQ messaging and themes in a movie he took his grandson to see.

Dom Lucre:

🔥🚨BREAKING: The LGBTQ community is furious with Legendary rapper Snoop Dogg after he said he’s “scared to go to the movies” after watching Disney’s ‘Lightyear’ film with his grandson and seeing an LGBTQ+ couple:

Dogg: “I didn’t come in for this s***. I just came to watch the goddamn movie.”

Everybody’s exhausted from the nonstop preachy social and political finger-wagging from the left, and honestly, they’ve been wrong about everything.

Look at what’s now happening over at Cracker Barrel… they’re gutting the soul out of that legendary American company, and you’ll never guess who’s part of the wrecking crew. Yep. A former Disney “diversity” guy.

Robby Starbuck:

Meet Gilbert Davila, one of the board members for Cracker Barrel. He’s led a DEI strategy firm since 2010 AND he was a VP working on “Diversity” at Disney. That’s his experience.

He also pushes for DEI in advertisements.

Cracker Barrel is infested with DEI & wokeness.

Steak n’ Shake put it best:

But now, after years of doubling down on the failed “woke” playbook and alienating the very demographic that carried them for decades, Disney is quietly waving the white flag. They’ve realized what they should have known all along, that without men… real men, the kind who want adventure, action, and unapologetic entertainment… the magic kingdom is nothing more than an empty, boring old castle.

Variety:

Leadership at Disney is pressing Hollywood creatives for movies that will bring young men (ages 13-28, aka Gen Z) back to the brand in a meaningful way, specifically original concepts.

Sources say Disney has been seeking new IP and pitches such as splashy global adventures and treasure hunts, as well as seasonal fare like films for the Halloween corridor. The calls come as the Star Wars machine struggles to produce any film project and the superhero genre sheds audiences by the minute.

Of course, the Variety piece won’t come right out and say what everyone already knows… these woke “girl power” films and the emasculation of male characters have been a spectacularly failed experiment.

We’re not suggesting Disney is about to roll over and die; they’re still the biggest name in the biz. However, as they pivot toward trying to win back Gen Z men, they know the current vibe just isn’t going to cut it, and if they want success long-term, they need to win back real guys, and that’s going to mean abandoning the feminist and LGBTQ preaching.

Vanity Fair:

Much has been written about the narrowing audience for superhero movies. The performance of Marvel’s latest release, “Fantastic Four: First Steps,” which aimed to launch yet another superhero franchise led by Pedro Pascal and Vanessa Kirby, failed to meet expectations. That’s despite good reviews, a promising opening weekend and the full attention of Marvel czar Kevin Feige. “Star Wars” has not produced a film in seven years (a big-screen adaptation of Disney+ hit “The Mandalorian” is coming next year).

One top film executive at a Disney rival says every studio should be looking for originals, as sequels and reboots continue to exhaust the culture — even if they’re packing in moviegoers in the short term.

“I never thought I’d say it,” the exec muses about the Magic Kingdom’s boy troubles despite its gem box of iconic IP, “but it looks like Disney is going to have to start trying.”

Disney’s biggest problem goes beyond just wanting men back. The question now is, how exactly are they going to do that when the people running the place are the same radical feminists and woke ideologues who drove the brand into the ground in the first place? Do they honestly think these extremists, who’ve spent years lecturing and alienating their core audience, are suddenly going to abandon their ideology and start making good films again?

Not a chance.

The only real path forward for Disney is a full-blown reset. They need to fire the activists, clean house, and bring in leadership that understands entertainment, not propaganda. Right now, the company is a lot like the FBI, rotten to the core and incapable of real change with the same team in charge. If they ever find the guts to clear out the rot, maybe they stand a chance at winning back the men they’ve driven away.

After all, Americans love a good movie packed with action, adventure, and zero political or social propaganda. If Disney can step up, ditch the extremists and the PC pomp and circumstance, and get back to making films people actually want to see, the crowds will show up again in droves.

But it’s going to take more than some slick PR strategy or a few “listening sessions” in a conference room. Disney needs a real cleansing – fire the ideologues and rebuild from the ground up. Until they do that, all the promises in the world won’t bring back the magic, or the men, they’ve driven away.
