Darren Beattie is taking on the Deep State and the fight for free speech. During his latest sit-down with Glenn Beck, he explains why America First is winning the censorship war, even though we still have a long road to go. Revolver’s Darren Beattie is now president of the US Institute of Peace, and he’s been digging into the rot inside this taxpayer-funded operation… and what he’s uncovered is one of the wildest, most corrupt stories you’ve never heard.
In this interview, Beattie walks Glenn through a full-on internal meltdown that happened at the Institute right before he stepped in. Things got crazy. We’re talking barricaded offices, loaded guns, and a security guard held hostage. And if that wasn’t insane enough, a terabyte of financial data was wiped clean in what looks like a desperate attempt to hide the money trail.
But what investigators found was even more shocking. They discovered a former Taliban member on the US payroll, who was raking in six figures, at the same time the Institute was releasing bizarre reports complaining about the Taliban’s success in shutting down the opium trade. This raised serious eyebrows about what kind of so-called peace this taxpayer-funded operation was actually promoting.
And now, with Beattie exposing this madness, the regime media is trying to spin it all, painting him out as the villain instead of the man cleaning up a dangerous left-wing mess.

Here’s the clip of Beattie telling Glenn Beck the full story.
Glenn Beck:
This is probably the most INSANE Deep State story you’ve never heard.
The State Department’s @UnderSecPD Darren Beattie debunks ProPublica’s claim that DOGE “targeted” an “Afghan scholar who fled the Taliban”:
“There was a whole saga of a takeover of the US Institute of Peace under DOGE.
Just to give you a sense of what these [US Institute of Peace workers] were like, they barricaded themselves in the offices. They sabotaged the physical infrastructure of the building. There were reports of loaded guns within the offices.
There was one hostage situation where they held a security guard under basically kind of a false imprisonment type situation. It was extremely intense. Far more so than the better known story of USAID.
And in the course of all of that, they tried to delete a TERABYTE of data of accounting information that would indicate what kind of stuff they were up to. What kind of people they were paying.
And in the course of that, DOGE found that one of the people on their payroll was this curious figure who had a prominent role in the Taliban government and then seemed to play a bunch of angles across each other.
The question is, what the heck is an organization like this doing having an individual who is a former Taliban member on their payroll?!
I think even more bizarre than having this former Taliban guy on the payroll is the kind of schizophrenic posture in relation to Afghanistan exhibited by the US Institute of Peace.
One truly bizarre thing is that one of the US Institute of Peace’s main kind of policy agendas was basically lamenting the fact that the opium trade had DISSIPATED under Taliban leadership. They had multiple reports coming out, basically saying, ‘this is horrible that the opium trade is diminished under the Taliban. We need to find some way to restore it.’ How bizarre is that!
The whole story of opium and Afghanistan and its connection to government entities is a very intricate and delicate and fascinating one. But it seems very clear that the US Institute of Peace was involved in that story to some degree.
The ProPublica thing, as usual and as expected, was a total joke…What’s very clear is he was a former Taliban guy, and he was probably one of these people who was playing all sides, made a lot of enemies.
This has nothing to do with DOGE.
This random former Taliban guy, I think his contract was $130,000.”
This is probably the most INSANE Deep State story you’ve never heard.

And speaking of exposing what’s happening behind the scenes, Darren Beattie recently sat down with his friend Don Jr. to talk about what’s really going on in the global war on free speech and censorship.
What’s crystal clear from everything Darren Beattie has shared is that the left has been using government programs, from USAID to the US Institute of Peace, for shady, self-serving agendas. And now that Darren and others are calling them out and shining a light on their corruption, they’re scattering like roaches.
This should be a wake-up call for every American. These are taxpayer-funded programs, and they should never be hijacked, not by the left, not by the right, not by anyone, for political games or global power plays. If these agencies are going to exist, they need real oversight, full transparency, and strict accountability so they can’t be weaponized against the people they’re supposed to serve.
Beattie’s work is a reminder that when you demand the truth and refuse to back down, the swamp starts to panic. And that’s exactly what Washington needs more of. PANIC.
