Harvard University might establish new conservative center as Trump administration turns up heat on the Ivy League school, according to a Wall Street Journal report.

The new conservative scholarship program would “promote and support viewpoint diversity” and “will ensure exposure to the broadest ranges of perspectives on issues, and will not be partisan, but rather will model the use of evidence-based, rigorous logic and a willingness to engage with opposing views,” a Harvard spokesperson told the WSJ.

The idea has been floated in the past but it's now under more serious consideration given that the Trump administration is removing federal funding from the school over how it handled the anti-Israel protests that began in 2023.
