Well, it turns out the MAGA divide isn’t as Deep as some thought or hoped it was.
There’s been a lot of noise lately about division within the MAGA movement, driven mostly by social media influencers and TDS leftists hoping to jump on the wave of angst and fracture Trump’s base. But new polling tells a totally different story.
Despite the chaos swirling around the Epstein drama, President Trump’s approval rating among Republicans has actually gone up, according to two new polls.
CNN: 86% → 88%
Quinnipiac: 87% → 90%
While social media influencers on both sides of the political spectrum focus on “the list,” actual Americans seem more focused on the things that actually affect their lives, and they’re standing firmly behind the one guy who’s tackling those issues head-on.
It’s no coincidence that the renewed push for the “Epstein list” is all of a sudden gaining steam on both sides of the aisle. For over a decade now, Dems have had zero interest in any Epstein-related transparency. They never demanded answers from Obama, Biden, or Clinton. But now, out of nowhere, they’re demanding “sunlight,” not for justice, but to drive up the drama and take a chainsaw to MAGA.

This conveniently timed outrage is designed to make it look like President Trump is hiding something, and it’s fueled by social media voices who either don’t know better or are hoping to cash in on the chaos, literally and politically.
Look, we get the anger. The Epstein saga has been a disaster from the beginning. The American people are sick and tired of a two-tiered system where elites skate by while regular people get crushed. They’ve watched meme posters get arrested while pedophiles with private islands walk free. The rage is real, and it’s understandable and righteous.
But even President Trump has had enough of the weaponized hysteria.
President Trump took to Truth Social and tore into the Wall Street Journal for publishing a letter they claimed was written by him to Jeffrey Epstein, a letter Trump says is 100 percent fake. Here’s a summary of what he posted:
Trump says Rupert Murdoch and WSJ Editor Emma Tucker were both warned directly that the letter was fake. Karoline Leavitt also told them.
They ran the story anyway. Trump calls it false, malicious, defamatory, and says he will be suing WSJ, NewsCorp, and Rupert Murdoch.
He also torched the WSJ as a “Disgusting and Filthy Rag” and slammed the entire Epstein smear campaign as a hoax cooked up by the same Deep State clowns who brought us Comey, Brennan, and Crooked Hillary.
Here’s a copy of President Trump’s post:
Trump is fully aware of the online outrage coming from both the right and the left, which is exactly why he’s ordered AG Pam Bondi to unseal and release the Epstein Grand Jury files.
That’s a win for sunlight on this dark issue.
But at the same time, it’s clear Trump is fed up with the manufactured hysteria that’s hijacked this entire saga.
Here’s a close-up of President Trump’s Truth Social post:
The good news is that those who want some transparency on this issue are about to get it. But the question on many people’s minds is why isn’t the Epstein story crossing over and resonating with everyday Americans? A lot of right-wing media experts assumed this Epstein revival would trigger a massive backlash against Trump, but it hasn’t. And the likely reason is that President Trump is winning on the issues that Americans actually voted for.
As we recently explored, the number one issue for Americans is the economy, stupid.
Most people don’t want to curl up and read another boring think piece about “how the economy is doing.” Most people don’t care what Wall Street says or how the Fed spins it. They care about their rent, groceries, job security, and whether they can take a breath without stressing over their bank account. That’s why this new focus group data, shared with Semafor, actually matters.
Because for once, we’re hearing from real people, not analysts. And the findings are not shocking, but it’s a wake-up call. It turns out Americans across the board are fed up. They don’t feel secure, they don’t feel heard, and they sure as hell don’t feel optimistic.
Semafor:
American voters are “extremely pessimistic” about the economy regardless of their age, gender or race… Four in five participants said they did not feel financially secure, while nine in 10 said they think the economy is getting worse. They said they blame “greedy corporations” and view politicians as “in bed” with them. But here’s the thing: this isn’t just some messaging problem that a PR firm can fix. It’s a disconnect between how DC measures success and how regular people actually “experience” it. The political class might be patting themselves on the back, but voters aren’t buying it and they don’t feel “heard.”
The Semafor piece goes on:
Politicians in both parties … measure the economy [by] the stock market or unemployment rate or inflation,” Brown said. “That’s not how the voters think about it; that’s not how workers think about it.
What this focus group data really shows is something the right and President Trump can’t ignore. The economy isn’t just an issue. It’s the issue. Forget the culture wars, forget the foreign policy noise; it’s all filler. Because if people can’t pay their bills, they’ll tune out. And if Trump ever takes his eye off that ball, the movement could be in big trouble.
Voters aren’t asking for big promises or flashy headlines. They want stability, fairness, and leadership that actually takes on corporate leeches who are draining their paychecks. That’s what made Trump’s first run so powerful, and it’s still the winning message today.

Yes, the Epstein files matter. No question. But for most Americans, they’re simply not the top priority right now. Voters are worried about inflation, rent, groceries, and whether they’ll still have a job next month, not about flight logs and secret lists. Right or wrong, moral or not, that’s just where the country is at.
And part of the reason is because the Epstein saga has been tainted by years of wild, unprovable claims, everything from blood drinking to satanic rituals. That kind of sensationalism has pushed what should’ve been a serious pursuit of justice into fringe territory. And that’s a shame, because the victims are real, and the abuse was real. But when the story gets hijacked by internet lore, the truth gets buried, and the people who deserve justice are the ones who pay the price.
