Have you heard? South Korea pulled a “North Korea” and just crushed their enemy into dust.

It all started when the liberals impeached the right-wing president. Then, they triggered a new election, which, of course, they won. And now, they’re feverishly working to expand their high court to lock in a permanent liberal majority.

Steve Bannon saw it coming back in May; he knew our South Korean allies were headed for serious trouble.

Would Republicans ever pull something like this? Oh, heavens no. We’re still stuck operating under the Paul Ryan and Mitt Romney battle plan: “That’s not who we are.”

But maybe it should be.

For those of you who don’t know, this is what wielding power without apology actually looks like.

All of this was legal. None of it would ever be even considered by the Right because our side is largely dominated by losers who view playing to win as a violation of their own principles.

Just like that. Done and dusted. Well, not quite…

Korea Times:

Korea’s ruling Democratic Party of Korea (DPK) opted, Thursday, to delay its controversial push for legislation that would dramatically expand the Supreme Court, proposing to increase the number of justices from 14 to 30. The move came amid escalating concerns over the potential impact on judicial independence.

Referred to by critics as “court packing,” the proposed bill, if enacted, is widely feared to swiftly recalibrate the ideological balance of the nation’s highest judicial body. Opponents contend such an expansion would align the court’s composition more closely with the political views of President Lee Jae-myung, who took office just this Wednesday.

The Assembly’s Legislation and Judiciary Committee, chaired by Rep. Jung Chung-rae, approved that bill on Wednesday amid opposition from the conservative People Power Party. DPK officials said it may try to pass the bill during Thursday’s plenary session at the Assembly.

Keep in mind, this was all legal. Brutal, maybe, but legal. And that’s the point. And the ramifications could be very far-reaching.

Once again, China comes out ahead thanks to chaos and a controversial election. Sound familiar?

The left scores its biggest wins when the right’s caught napping or with its political pants around its ankles, never seeing the ambush coming.

So, while the South Koreans duke it out over the court, this is what the Right needs to understand about our situation at home: the enemy doesn’t care about your principles. They care about power. And while conservatives here keep begging for a “return to normalcy,” the Left has already bulldozed normal into oblivion and torched the map on the way out the door.

So what’s the plan – keep pretending it’s 2006 and the old rules still apply? Or wake up and realize we’re in a new era now, one where masks are off, gloves are off, and the enemy is operating in broad daylight?

The shady players were forced out of the shadows, thanks in large part to Donald Trump. His presidency shook the foundations so hard that the tyrants panicked and revealed their true face. And once you rip off the mask, there’s no putting it back on.

So again, we ask, what should our side do? Try to politely negotiate with people who don’t even believe in the game anymore, or fight back with the same unapologetic fury they’re bringing to us?

Because this is the new normal for us and the world.

Is that what the left wanted all along? To shove the right onto a playing field where we 1) didn’t want to play and 2) didn’t even know how? Yeah, probably. The real irony here is that we could’ve stopped this bullet train to hell a long time ago… if only we’d unleashed our righteous fury without apology.
