There’s a disturbing pattern unfolding in America, and no one on the left (including the media lackeys) wants to talk about it.

A young black man commits a violent crime against a white victim. The media rushes in. The family cries racism. The Dems crank the outrage machine. Suddenly, the criminal becomes a civil rights icon, a martyr, a symbol of “justice denied.” GoFundMe or GiveSendGo kicks into gear, and before the dust settles, the family of a violent offender is swimming in hundreds of thousands, sometimes millions, of dollars.

Sound familiar? Well, it should.

We’ve seen this playbook before. Just look at George Floyd. He was a career criminal who once held a loaded gun to the belly of a pregnant woman while his crew ransacked her home. Years later, after a deadly encounter with Officer Derek Chauvin, Floyd was practically elevated to sainthood.

He was given the royal treatment, a gold casket, nationwide memorials, and a payout to his family so massive it would make real civil rights heroes do flip-flops in their graves. The Left turned him into a symbol of justice, when in truth, he was a drug-dealing felon who died while trying to pass counterfeit cash and swallowing a lethal dose of fentanyl to avoid arrest.

Honestly, it’s the same twisted dynamic you see in the Middle East: suicide bombers commit horrific crimes, and when they die, their families are showered in praise and cash. These men (and women) take out innocents, and their mothers are given homes, money, and lifelong status in the community.

Now, in America, the Left has created its own version… a twisted martyr economy, where criminals are given “saint status” and their families get rich. George Floyd wasn’t a hero. He was a drug-dealing, violent felon. But that didn’t stop the machine from turning him into a martyr symbol and cashing in on his death.

And now, it’s happening again. This time with Karmelo Anthony, a violent teenager who stabbed a white student to death simply because he asked him to leave an area reserved for another school’s students.

Instead of outrage over the racial hatred or just the gruesome violence itself, the media and the left once again twisted the narrative. Activists immediately began painting Anthony as a victim—the next “Rosa Parks” who refused to give up his seat to a white man—and the fundraising began right on cue.

Watch:

The Anthony family has made over half a million bucks off their violent, bloodthirsty kin.

Karmelo was recently indicted on 1st degree murder charges.

And no surprise here: a Soros-backed activist group called Next Generation Action Network is knee-deep in this scam. The group is run by a so-called “pastor” with a rap sheet that includes injuring his ex-girlfriend’s toddler.

Look:

This has all the markings of an Al Sharpton-style grift… just more elaborate.

Info Wars:

The group appears to have filed IRS Form 990’s under multiple different names, and at least two of the entities had their tax-exempt status revoked for failing to file a 990. For this reason, it is very difficult to track the group’s funding sources.

Luckily, other left-wing groups have filed 990’s that shed light on how the Next Generation Action Network gets its power. Dominique Alexander’s group has received money from at least three George Soros-funded organizations: The Tides Foundation, BVM Capacity Building Institute, and Resist, Inc.

The Tides Foundation gave the Next Generation Action Network in Dallas a $25,000 cash grant, according to the Tides 990 for 2023. The grant was for “EQUITY, HUMAN RIGHTS, AND ECONOMIC EMPOWERMENT,” according to the 990. The Tides Foundation is a San Francisco and New York-based leftist slush fund that partners with the parent group of Wikipedia. The Tides Foundation and its affiliates have taken millions of dollars from George Soros’ foundations, according to the grants database on the Open Society Foundations website.

But now, the whole convoluted narrative is starting to unravel. Thanks to shocking new information that just dropped, people are now starting to see that this entire “fake civil rights hero” stuff is likely one big left-wing fraud.

Sarah Fields:

BREAKING: Karmelo Anthony submitted an Indigent Packet to the Collin County Court, requesting court-appointed legal representation as an indigent (financially destitute) defendant. However, just 24 hours ago, the Anthony family updated their GiveSendGo campaign to reflect a need to raise an additional $1.4 million for “a legal team.” Karmelo Anthony’s mother, Kala Hayes, who manages the GiveSendGo, stated on April 17th (two months ago) that they had just gained access to the funds. At that time, they had already raised $350,000. The fundraiser has now reached $538,000. According to a source, their current known attorney, Mike Howard, is more than likely charging a retainer fee of $10,000–$30,000 and charges $400–$500 per hour. Where did the money go? Why do they need $1.4 million? Will they be granted indigence and an appointed attorney with a GiveSendGo of this magnitude? Is this considered fraud?

Here’s a close-up of the image Sarah shared:

There’s a couple of important things to note: first, the family openly stated they had full access to the funds, no restrictions, and the only “holdup” was that it would take a “couple of days” to get the cash.

Next, Karmelo’s legal fund has only raised $3K since they upped the request to $1.4 million. In other words, he’s screwed.

Daily Mail:

The parents of alleged murderer Karmelo Anthony insist they ‘haven’t received a dime’ of the hundreds of thousands of dollars donated to their son’s legal fund.

Anthony’s mother Kala Hayes said Thursday the family had only just received notice that they can access the $500,000 of donations, but that it will still take a few days before any money is received.

Many are now wondering: how can you claim “indigent status,” requesting a taxpayer-funded lawyer, while your family is sitting on (at least) half a million dollars in donations? And why are they suddenly asking for $1.4 million more to build a “legal team?”

What we’re seeing is a totally new form of grift. This one weaponizes race, tragedy, and left-wing outrage to turn criminals into celebrities, line the pockets of activist groups and left-wing ambulance chasers, and turn these families into lottery winners. And just like with suicide bombers in the Middle East, the incentive is clear: commit violence, and your family gets rich.

Except in this case, it’s not martyrdom for some twisted cause. It’s straight-up profit from chaos.

This is starting to look like another left-wing racket that’s dripping with fraud, and yet again, taxpayers are footing the bill.
