We’re told every day by the left and their media lapdogs that illegals only take the jobs (entitled) Americans refuse to do. It’s one of the biggest lies in American politics, cooked up in the backrooms of some smoky DNC office to sell this illegal invasion as some kind of favor to the rest of us.

But a funny thing happened in Nebraska this week that blew that tired, dusty old myth to bits. ICE raided Glenn Valley Foods, pulling off the largest worksite immigration raid in state history. Dozens of illegal workers were removed and deported on the spot.

And what happened next? Well, something the media and the left don’t want you to know…

The waiting room was jam-packed with American citizens lined up, applications in hand, eager to work. The very jobs we’re told no Americans want suddenly became hot commodities the moment the illegals were shown the door.

Trump ally Steve Cortes summed up this entire fiasco perfectly:

“So…immigration enforcement leads to a rush of applicants for those jobs from…American citizens!”

Exactly. Secure the border, enforce the law, and Americans will fill the jobs they always did before DC sold them out.

This Nebraska raid comes on the heels of a brutal reality check: back in 2024, a jobs report showed a staggering drop of 1.3 million jobs for native-born workers, almost perfectly offset by a gain of 1.2 million jobs for foreign-born workers, many of whom are in the country illegally. It doesn’t take a math whiz to understand the problem, does it?

This is the so-called “Great Replacement” in real time. The left screeches that it’s a conspiracy theory, but the numbers and the “breadline reality” for American families say the opposite. Your livelihood, your neighborhood, and your kids’ futures are all swapped out so cheap labor can fatten a few bottom lines and keep the DNC’s new voter base cheering.

NBC News even had to admit what unfolded at Glenn Valley Foods: the place was buzzing with job seekers right after ICE cleaned house. Chairs full, forms being filled out, Americans ready to roll up their sleeves and work for a fair wage.

NBC News: 

Every seat in the waiting area of Glenn Valley Foods was occupied with people filling out job applications early Thursday afternoon, two days after the meatpacking plant became the center of the largest worksite immigration raid in the state of Nebraska so far this year.

Dozens of prospective employees, many of them Spanish speakers, had been coming in and out of the plant all day. Some were hoping to land a new job; others were coming in for training.

The scene gave the company’s president, Chad Hartmann, a glimmer of hope amid the chaos that ensued after Tuesday’s raid purged roughly half of his staff — many of whom had been longtime employees of the company, which has been processing boxed beef for more than 15 years.

Business owners hiring illegals should face monetary and criminal penalties. The NBC piece goes on:

Seventy-six people working at Glenn Valley Foods were arrested by federal immigration authorities Tuesday morning, the Department of Homeland Security told NBC News in an email.

Immigration and Customs Enforcement said the arrests were part of an enforcement operation to execute a federal search warrant in connection to an investigation into “the large-scale employment of aliens without legal work authorization.”

So next time some left-wing yahoo says, “Oh, these poor illegals are just doing jobs Americans won’t do,” remember Nebraska. It’s not compassion; it’s a calculated lie to keep wages low, break unions, and pad donor profits.

And it’s not just meatpacking plants. Remember decades ago, when construction jobs were solid middle-class gigs for Americans? Then the floodgates opened. Illegal labor poured in, contractors looked the other way, and wages tanked. Good-paying jobs turned into scraps, handed out by shady subcontractors who don’t check a single solitary visa.

It was always a lie that Americans won’t do these jobs. Nebraska proved it, construction proves it, and this American worker in Florida hammers it home.
