UPDATE: Congress is finally paying attention to the OneTaste lawfare case...

After years of crickets, someone in Congress is finally speaking up about the politically motivated takedown of OneTaste, the wellness company that’s been caught in a lawfare web since the height of the #MeToo hysteria. And the timing couldn’t be more important. The sham case against founder Nicole Daedone and former head of sales Rachel Cherwitz should have been dismissed long ago. But Biden-era holdovers in the Eastern District of New York have no interest in justice. They just want another #MeToo scalp to show off for the cameras.

Now, a sitting member of Congress, who also serves on the House Judiciary Committee and has a background in law enforcement, is demanding answers from the FBI about their corrupt role in the case.

An FBI special agent leading the investigation into two former leaders of an ‘orgasmic meditation cult’ featured in a hit Netflix show has been accused of fabricating evidence by a Member of Congress, DailyMail.com can exclusively reveal.

The representative has written to new FBI director Kash Patel, alleging the agent ‘transformed the Netflix-created content into federal evidence’ to go after ex-OneTaste wellness company executives Rachel Cherwitz and Nicole Daedone.

Both women face trial this week in New York, accused of a forced labor scheme that allegedly involved participants in OneTaste courses and employees between 2006 and 2018.

Sadly, this is a lawfare tale as old as time nowadays. A corrupt FBI agent, fabricated evidence, and a sketchy Netflix documentary used as proof. This is the sad state of justice in America today.

It’s no wonder a sitting US congressman finally took notice. The accusations of lawfare are explosive. A special agent allegedly coordinated with Netflix producers while building the case, filed misleading affidavits, used personal email to avoid oversight, and even told witnesses to destroy evidence. This wasn’t just sloppy work. It was a calculated hit. The Daily Mail piece goes on:

The representative, whose name is redacted, alleges a special agent of the New York City division has ‘a long and extremely troubling list of alleged investigative abuses which demand accountability’.

DailyMail.com has decided not to name the agent in the letter, whose ‘actions appear to represent a fundamental corruption of the investigative process and a failure of agent accountability,’ writes the Congress member.

The letter accuses the special agent of ‘participating in Netflix productions while investigating targets’ plus making up evidence ‘through entertainment media’, filing misleading affidavits, directing witnesses to destroy evidence, and using personal email to avoid official scrutiny.

‘Most disturbing is the systematic effort to transform Netflix-created content into federal evidence,’ they add. ‘This isn’t just overreach – it’s deliberate fabrication of a criminal case through entertainment media.’

The Congress member says they are committed to ending the ‘weaponization’ of the FBI to ensure Americans are not hit by ‘improperly motivated or abusive law enforcement tactics’.

They write that the agent’s conduct ‘suggests a broader cultural problem within the Bureau – one where entertainment value trumps evidentiary standards’.

The letter follows a dramatic shift in the case in March when Blanck’s journals were thrown out of the Brooklyn court under defense pressure – and prosecutors said she was no longer considered a key witness.

‘The government no longer believes that the disputed portions of the handwritten journals are authentic,’ prosecutors wrote to the judge. They said the diaries were transcribed years later.

So, why did this case still go to trial? Because regime-loyal prosecutors in EDNY have a radical, activist judge in their back pockets. The fix was in from the start. They don’t care about due process. They want a conviction, no matter how dirty this game gets.

This isn’t justice. It’s a hit job. And it’s long past time to shut it down.

This case should have never made it to trial. The facts are as clear as day, the misconduct is in-your-face, and the narrative was built on a mountain of lies. But the Biden regime flunkies inside the EDNY are not interested in truth or justice. They are focused on scoring political points and collecting scalps to boost their social justice agenda.

One Congressman speaking out is a start, but it is not enough. Every GOP representative in this country should be getting involved in cases like this. Until they do, the injustice will continue to choke the life and liberty out of the American people.
