Secretary Bessent responded to China’s retaliation by doubling down—he says this trade war is an economic loser for them, plain and simple.

“They are the surplus country. Their exports to the US are five times our exports to China, so they can raise their tariffs, but – so what?”

 

Now, more and more Americans are now calling on President Trump to seize Chinese-owned farmland in the US.

China is estimated to own roughly 384,000 acres of US farmland. The irony here is that foreigners aren’t even allowed to own land in China.
