As you’ve likely heard by now, Pope Francis has died. The 88-year-old progressive Pope had been battling pneumonia and passed away just one day after Easter. Many viewed Francis as “Obama’s Pope,” a nickname he got thanks to long-running rumors that Obama played a role in replacing traditionalist Pope Benedict with the more liberal Francis. And let’s be honest—after the Wikileaks Podesta/DNC dump exposed the Dem Party’s obsession with infiltrating the Catholic Church, those rumors didn’t seem so far-fetched.

These tweets from 2016 are a reminder of the backlash:

And there was this 2016 article from Red State:

It starts off with this note from Sandy Newman who is president of something called Voices for Progress. Newman’s bio paints him as something of a modern day “red diaper baby” who has devoted his life to furthering the ends of the Communist International progressive movement. In it, Newman bemoans Catholic bishops actually being Catholic and voices his desire to “plant the seeds of the revolution” in the Catholic Church.

This is a novel way of solving the whole religious freedom issue. Just change the beliefs of religions to conform to the Democrat platform.

What he gets back is a rather stunning admission from Podesta. Progressives are running two astroturf Catholic organizations masquerading as associations of grassroots Catholics.

Catholics United portrays itself as non-partisan and is organized as a 501(c)4.

Catholics United is a non-profit, non-partisan organization dedicated to promoting the message of justice and the common good found at the heart of the Catholic Social Tradition. We accomplish this mission through online advocacy and educational activities.
It has contributed heavily to Democrat politicians who support abortion and a wide variety of sexual perversions.

Catholics United aims to raise $500,000 to support congressional candidates who backed health care reform, the liberal-leaning Catholic advocacy group announced Wednesday.

It’s planning to pour money into four races in Ohio, Pennsylvania and Virginia to start, and it hopes to widen its efforts as November’s elections approach.

The group will defend Democratic Reps. John Boccieri of Ohio, Kathy Dahlkemper of Pennsylvania, Steve Driehaus of Ohio and Tom Perriello of Virginia.

Pope Francis fit the left’s agenda a little too perfectly. Coincidence? Maybe—but a lot of people think it was calculated.

However, now it’s time to choose a new pope. Will the left-wing globalists keep their stranglehold on the Catholic Church—or will tradition finally prevail? There’s a viral thread making the rounds on X listing some of the top contenders for the job.

We went through the names and broke them down: the good, the bad, and the total disasters.

Please note: the thread didn’t include this first name, but we think he’s in the running—and honestly, he’d be a strong pick.

1. Cardinal Péter Erdo – GOOD
Traditional, disciplined, not flashy, and no interest in turning the Church into a woke social club. Solid, serious pick who actually respects doctrine.

2. Cardinal Robert Sarah – GOOD
The dream pope for traditional Catholics. Unapologetically bold, anti-woke, fiercely pro-life. But he’s 79 and way too real for the Vatican elites to ever back.

3. Cardinal Pierbattista Pizzaballa – GOOD
Tough, grounded, and not playing globalist games. Doesn’t go full trad, but definitely not woke either. A respectable, stable choice.

4. Cardinal Charles Bo – BAD
Too focused on social justice and “interfaith” outreach. Leans left when it counts. Not a warrior for tradition.

5. Cardinal Malcolm Ranjith – GOOD
Quiet, serious, and committed to old-school Catholicism. He respects tradition and isn’t chasing modern trends—but his age might work against him.

6. Cardinal Daniel Sturla – GOOD
Orthodox, clear-headed, and not afraid to speak the truth in a secular culture. Underrated, but very solid.

7. Cardinal William Goh – BAD
Way too weak. Talks tradition, but plays both sides. Not trustworthy when it comes to holding the line.

8. Cardinal Willem Eijk – GOOD
He’s tough on the moral issues, speaks plain truth in a world that hates it, and doesn’t play games with Church teaching. No fluff. Just solid.

9. Cardinal Fridolin Ambongo – MIXED
Good on resisting the LGBT agenda, but leans too political and activist-heavy. Could go either way.

10. Cardinal Peter Turkson – BAD
Globalist energy. Big on climate change and wealth redistribution. Not a defender of tradition—more of a “Vatican insider” type.

11. Cardinal Pietro Parolin – VERY BAD
Deep State Vatican. Helped sell out Catholics to China. Globalist to the core. This guy would be a disaster.

12. Cardinal Matteo Zuppi – DISASTER
Woke, progressive, and already trying to remake Church teaching. Basically Francis 2.0 with a faster, better-built motor. Hard no on this guy.

This next conclave is a big turning point for the Catholic Church.

If they choose someone like Sarah, Erdo, or Pizzaballa, there’s a real shot at bringing back tradition and morality. But if the globalists get their way again, it’ll be more of the same—confusion, compromise, and progressive politics.

For Catholics who still believe in the tradition of the Church, this new pope pick matters more than ever.
