Beyond middle age, however, the nutritional paradigm shifts. Adults over 60 in countries with dominant plant-based protein supplies—think legumes, nuts and grains—had higher life expectancies.     Truth out at end of article. This is a sales pitch about environmental concerns seeking to limit the impact of cows and limit the meat protein impact by RATIONING PROTEIN!
    Lower protein for seniors equals diminished brain power (see Calorie Restriction Society citing research). Longo’s longevity study at USC shows a need for increased animal protein post age 70. The author does favor fish as a source, but more not less protein,
