LUADERDALE LAKES, Fla. (CBS12) — Investigators in Broward County want to find the man accused of sexually assaulting an elderly woman near a Lauderdale Lakes intersection.
On Friday, the Broward County Sheriff’s Office (BSO) released two images of the man they are seeking in connection with the crime. In its statement, authorities noted that the man is believed to be homeless.
According to the BSO report, the 81-year-old victim was walking around 4:30 a.m. near the intersection of Northwest 50th Avenue and Northwest 34th Street when the man threw her to the ground and assaulted her.
Two people heard the victim screaming for help and ran to see what was happening. They told investigators that they saw the man on top of the victim before he took off from the scene.

During their investigation, detectives located the two images released Friday.
