A Michigan representative has filed articles of impeachment against President Trump. His name is Shri Thanedar, and he represents Michigan’s 13th Congressional District. Rep. Thanedar claims he filed the articles over so-called “acts of tyranny that undermine American democracy.”

You’ve likely never even heard of this representative. Many wonder if the good people of Michigan’s 13th District even know who he is.

One thing is certain — based on what we’ve seen, he doesn’t exactly come off as a brilliant mind. Dinesh D’Souza even pointed out that in India, a man like Thanedar would likely be working as a waiter. As it turns out, at one point, Rep. Thanedar worked as a janitor.

Thanedar.com:

While in school, Congressman Thanedar worked as a janitor to make ends meet and at times slept in his car.

Dinesh believes that Thanedar is a poster boy for the left’s DEI movement.

Rep. Thanedar arrived in the US on a student visa in 1979, married an American woman in 1984, and became a US citizen as a result.

In 1996, his wife committed suicide.

Detroit News:

Detroit U.S. Rep. Shri Thanedar produced and acted in a short film about the suicide of his first wife that was screened Saturday evening at the DC South Asian Film Festival.

The 15-minute film, “Dear Pra,” is a dramatic retelling of the days before and after the death of Shamal Thanedar, a neurologist and mom of two who took her life in 1996 at age 37 when the family was living in St. Louis by overdosing on anti-depressant pills.

Aside from that tragic story, Rep. Thanedar has a closet full of skeletons. The man accusing President Trump of “tyranny” knows a thing or two about being a cold, calculated leader. As it turns out, the pharmaceutical company he once owned has been accused of horrific abuse against dogs and monkeys.

BREAKING NEWS:

Those that are CRUEL to animals are the lowest on the planet.

Rep. Shri Thanedar’s former company, AniClin Preclinical Services, under fire after 2010 bankruptcy left 170+ dogs & monkeys in alleged neglect.

USA Today reported animals caged with inadequate care; staff climbed fences to feed them.

Welfare groups ensured adoptions.

Thanedar denies cruelty, claims animals were cared for, and a motion to sell them as assets was withdrawn. (BS)

Critics, including the Humane Society, slam conditions as inhumane.

There’s even more to the story… Here’s some additional disturbing information from the local Detroit news.

WXYZ:

Shri Thanedar is being dogged by allegations he tested drugs prior to going to market on dogs and monkeys, and when the business went under the animals were abandoned.

“As a result of our research, no animal was ever harmed.  This is a necessary evil.. You’ve got to do testing if we want the medicine,” Thanedar tells 7 Investigator Jim Kiertzner.

This happened in 2010 in upstate Middletown, New York.

The Times Herald-Record covered it and posted a video on You Tube of the rescue of a reported 118 Beagles.

One woman in the video can be heard saying “We believe they have never been outside, ever.”

Of course, Thanedar took absolutely no responsibility for the abuse. The WXYZ piece goes on:

Thanedar tells 7 Investigator Kiertzner that the blame is on Bank of America which financed his business, foreclosed on the loan and took it over.

“This is Bank of America” he told Kiertzner.

“Not your fault?” Kiertzner asked.

“Not my fault,” Thanedar answered.

If his animal cruelty wasn’t enough to show his inhumane behavior, there’s more. He also voted against the Laken Riley Act — and he got blasted for it by one of his constituents.

And if you thought that was the end of it, think again. In 2023, he was accused of creating a toxic work environment and abusing his staff.

Huff Post:

No one disputes Thanedar’s rags-to-riches tale. But that’s not what people on Capitol Hill are actually learning about the representative from Michigan’s heavily Democratic 13th Congressional District. Instead, in just 11 months in office, Thanedar has gained a reputation for vanity in an institution powered by the stuff, burning through staff at a rapid clip, alienating his fellow members and spending taxpayer funds on what some people with knowledge of his office view as naked self-promotion.

The result is rampant questions about whether the working-class people Thanedar claims to represent — roughly one-fifth of his district’s families are below the poverty line — truly have an effective congressman and whether those families will choose to give Thanedar a second term in office.

After the publication of this piece, Thanedar called it a “hit job featuring featuring anonymous, inaccurate information from my political opponents and disgruntled former employees … I am as hardworking and taken as seriously as any member of Congress.”

Do you see a pattern here? Rep. Thanedar has a history of abuse, tyrannical behavior, and a complete refusal to take responsibility for anything. As usual, everything the left accuses President Trump of, they are guilty of themselves, and with this latest attack, the typical Dem cycle continues.

Meanwhile, the internet is having a field day with this man’s very fluffy-looking toupee. We’ll leave you with this video meme we came across; it might give you a chuckle.
