Michelle Obama has been off the radar for a while. She ditched Barry at the Carter funeral, skipped Trump’s inauguration, and fueled even more divorce rumors in the process. People wondered where she disappeared to—turns out, she was busy making a podcast with her brother—the brother most of us didn’t even know existed, because Michelle keeps her personal life locked up tighter than Fort Knox.

But her big return to the spotlight didn’t go as planned. Instead of a smash hit, her podcast flopped—hard. After hours on YouTube, it barely scraped together 20K views.

Looks like Michelle lost her mojo.

Jesse Watters covered the podcast flop on his highly rated show—something Michelle Obama knows nothing about. He also pointed out her constant negativity and how she never misses a chance to take a shot at her husband. Let’s be honest—Michelle gives off some serious angry, dominant, naggy wife vibes.

Even the left-leaning Daily Beast had to admit—Michelle Obama and her brother just aren’t pulling in the views. They also quoted Fox News’ Rachel Campos-Duffy, who made a great point—this kind of podcast might have worked fifteen years ago, but not today.

The Daily Beast:

Michelle teamed up with her basketball executive brother to launch IMO with Michelle Obama & Craig Robinson, a weekly show where they’ll be joined by guests to answer viewers’ questions and share personal anecdotes. It’s produced by Higher Ground, the media company Michelle and former President Barack Obama founded in 2018.

The show’s first two episodes, including one featuring actress Issa Rae, were released on Wednesday. By late evening, both episodes had only garnered about 21,000 views on YouTube, though the show was rated favorably by thousands of listeners on Spotify and Apple Podcasts.

The episodes included stories about how Michelle had to train the former president to get ready on time and how their daughters, Sasha and Malia, hated the White House tradition of pardoning turkeys for Thanksgiving.

Fox News personality Rachel Campos-Duffy joined Watters to dismiss the show as “boring.”

“This would’ve been such interesting stories about fifteen years ago,” she said. “I don’t care about any of these stories; I didn’t even find them funny.”

Honest question: What’s Michelle Obama bringing to the table that’s fresh? Her talking points? Tired. Her hairstyle? Outdated. Bashing Barry? Yawn.

The early reviews are in, and it’s clear—her shtick is stale and old.

It’s so bad that a podcast mocking Michelle’s show for being boring is actually more popular than her actual podcast.

Ouch, gurl…

The Obamas had every opportunity to build a lasting political dynasty, just like the Bushes, Clintons, and even Trump. But they failed spectacularly.

But why did they fail? There are many reasons, but a big one is because Barack Obama is obsessed with power and control and bet on losers to keep his “shadow presidency” alive and bury his own secrets. Instead of leaving behind a real legacy, he spent his post-presidency propping up unpopular, unwanted establishment politicians.

One loser after another.

Meanwhile, Michelle never carved out her own path. She’s spent years playing the bitter, resentful sidekick—publicly overshadowed by her husband, but behind closed doors, likely running the show like a tyrant.

But now, Michelle’s podcast flop is proof that America has moved on. Their influence has faded, and their political relevance is crumbling. Turns out, the only real “hope and change” they ever brought was for themselves.
