It looks like Canada picked a fight they weren’t ready for. The big tariff showdown has just backfired in their face in a big and very lasting way. More on that in a minute.

As you probably know, we’ve been in an ongoing tit-for-tat war with our “51st state” over President Trump’s tariffs. And let’s be clear—these tariffs aren’t some kind of punishment. They’re about leveling the playing field and creating fair trade.

But, of course, countries all over the globe, including Canada, are melting down over fairness, acting like the US just dropped a nuke on their heads, eh?

In a fit of emotional hysteria, Canada declared some trade war nonsense on the US instead of sitting down like adults and working things out as neighbors.

A lot of nasty words were exchanged, and at one point, Canada even threatened to cut off electricity to parts of America.

Ontario Premier Doug Ford recently threatened the United States, which may be the biggest mistake of his political career. He just threatened to cut off electricity to America.

Doug, We don’t give a shit. We don’t need your electricity. We’re not frightened by you!

This was a spectacularly bad political move by Canada’s hysterically emotional politicians. It even had President Trump wondering why on earth the U.S. was relying on Canada for energy in the first place.

And just like that, Trump won that squabble too.

But now, the stakes just got a helluva lot higher, and what’s unfolding in Canada is about to leave a lasting mark—and not in a good way. Instead of working with their neighbor and negotiating fairly, Canada’s leaders decided to throw a tantrum like petulant toddlers—and now, President Trump’s counterattack is unfolding exactly as planned.

His tariffs are already working—jobs are coming back to the US where they belong.

This is a major backfire for Canada, and it’s likely just the beginning of an even bigger flood of companies resettling in the good ol’ US of A…
