Bombing civilians in Yemen I guess might restrain Houthis that are elsewhere working on mobile units. It is also a potential precursor to possible war with Iran, then maybe Russia. Trump's agenda to re set the US and jobs etc might not have much chance if full scale war with Iran eventuates. Trump was against the Iraq war. It's hoped he has not reversed his outlook when it comes to Iran.

You could also replace the word democrat with republican. We live in a two party dictatorship.
