MOSCOW, February 4. /TASS/. Ukrainian ambassador to the UK Valery Zaluzhny is the most trusted official in Ukraine, with 72% of citizens backing the former commander of the country’s army, while Vladimir Zelensky’s trust rating stands at 49%, Ukrainian media reported, publishing the results of an online poll conducted on January 18-26 among 1,200 respondents over 18.
Ukrainian military intelligence chief Kirill Budanov was second with a 62% trust rating. In third was professional boxer Alexander Usik (60%).
The poll indicates that trust in Zaluzhny dropped from 75% in April 2024 to 72% in January 2025. Zelensky saw a slightly greater decline in popular support: in April 2024 his number was 54%, while in January 2025 it fell to 49%. The Ukrainian public continues to show more trust in its military figures than its politicians.
