Are you old enough to remember when 60 Minutes was a respected news show—one that actually took pride in real journalism and didn’t let left-wing propaganda run the show? If Andy Rooney were still around, he’d be roasting 60 Minutes in one of his infamous rants. That’s how bad it’s gotten.

You can’t trust anything they do these days. Who could forget the colluding scandal they got hit with during that train wreck of a Kamala Harris interview?

It’s sad to watch a once-beloved news program—something millions of Americans tuned into every Sunday—morph into yet another legacy media circus.

But here we are.

The latest fake news scandal is all about USAID and President Trump’s fraud-hunting army over at DOGE. And, as you’d expect by now, the regime’s favorite media attack dogs over at CBS are doing what they do best—running cover for the Deep State by taking cheap shots at DOGE every chance they get.

In their latest hatchet job, 60 Minutes tried to paint a well-connected DC swamp creature from USAID as some poor, all-American worker who just lost her job and can’t afford daycare—thanks to Trump and Elon.

This is fake news at its finest—and we’re about to break it all down. But first, watch the original:

Of course that interview was totally misconstrued and couldn’t be further from the truth. Thanks to Kari Lake’s viral X post, we all know what was really going on.

The woman 60 Minutes highlighted wasn’t some average worker struggling to get by—she was a former speechwriter for Samantha Power and a key player in the propaganda machine that kept this entire operation running and defrauding the American people.

Kari was right. “She/Her” was a speechwriter—and she had only been at USAID for just over two years.

Needless to say, Americans are fed up with this staged nonsense—and they’re just as fed up with Democrats protecting bloated slush funds that rob taxpayers blind while lining the pockets of our so-called ‘public servants.

Even though President Trump and DOGE are fighting for the American taxpayer and working to lower the deficit, the left and their media parrots are working overtime to smear DOGE and spin these taxpayer-funded piggy banks into beloved “Constitutional” institutions. It’s downright crazy to watch this unfold.

They’re digging their own graves. Like 60 Minutes just did.

They don’t report news—they push left-wing puff pieces (remember how they painted Ray Epps as a poor, innocent victim?), run cover stories to hide the left’s failures, and churn out shameless attack pieces like this one—a desperate, pathetic attempt to take down President Trump with a fake family crisis.
