Of all of the groundbreaking investigative reporting we’ve done at Revolver News, we are perhaps best known for our work on January 6—specifically our work on Ray Epps, the Scaffold Commander, and the initial breach on the Capitol, and the utterly scandalous January 6 pipe bomb hoax.

President Trump is a longtime fan of Revolver’s and has taken a particular interest in our January 6 coverage. In Darren Beattie’s interview with Trump, the president praised Revolver’s bravery in investigating January 6, and on several occasions, Trump has referenced our reporting on Ray Epps and the Scaffold Commander.

For the first time in public, Trump referenced the January 6 pipe bomb hoax, which we have been covering for over three and a half years. Specifically, Trump asserted with confidence that the FBI knows the identity of the January 6 pipe bomber and is covering it up.

This comes just days after the House Admin Committee published an 80-page report essentially confirming every major aspect of Revolver News’ coverage on the pipe bombs (stay tuned as we will publish an analysis of this report later this week).

One of Beattie’s conclusions is that the FBI conducted a legitimate investigation of the January 6 pipe bombs for the first few months of 2021, but then around May of 2021, it seems to have dropped the investigation entirely. Beattie’s conclusion (shared by President Trump) is that the FBI found out who the pipe bomber was, and the identity would have been so embarrassing to the regime and Biden administration that the FBI proceeded to cover up the pipe bomber’s identity.
