Joe Biden’s legacy is shaping up to be one of abstract failure. From his disastrous foreign policy to the economy that’s been a mess with inflation and crime rates soaring, he’s left quite the mark. Not to mention the border invasion, his weaponized justice system, and his dangerous DEI policies, which are more about “charity” than excellence.

But one of Biden’s most Orwellian moves was his “Disinformation” agenda. It was never about protecting truth. It was about silencing anyone who dared to question or oppose the regime’s narrative. If you weren’t toeing the line, they tried to shut you down—your job, your freedom, your reputation, all of it.

So much for letting freedom ring, huh?

Well, thankfully, after President Trump’s resounding and historic victory and valiant return to the White House, the four failed years of Biden’s Marxist regime are being systematically erased. And one of the first things on the chopping block is the left’s censorship apparatus.

As a matter of fact, Secretary of State Marco Rubio just fired one helluva warning shot at the left’s “Disinformation” crew. The gloves are off, and their jig is up.

Newly confirmed Secretary of State Marco Rubio notified US diplomats Tuesday that the State Department will no longer promote programs that “open the door to censorship.”

The departure from the Biden administration’s approach to combatting so-called “disinformation” was one of several planned changes outlined by Rubio, 53, in a cable sent to every US diplomatic and consular post worldwide on his first day in office.

In the cable, according to RealClearPolitics, Rubio slammed the “agencies and programs of our own government” that engaged “in censorship, suppression, and misinformation.”

The former Republican senator from Florida vowed that while the State Department would remain on the lookout for  “enemy propaganda,” under his watch, any programs that “lead or in any way open the door to censorship of the American people will be terminated.”

Rubio’s note to his new employees follows President Trump’s Day One executive order barring federal funds from being used for the purpose to “engage in or facilitate any conduct that would unconstitutionally abridge the free speech of any American citizen.”

If you’ve followed us, you know that we’ve covered the “disinformation” agenda from every possible angle. We were among the first to call it out and name names. As a matter of fact, thanks in part to Revolver’s top-notch investigative reporting, Biden’s big “Disinformation” program didn’t take off the way they had hoped.

Indeed, one of our favorite targets was none other than the singing Harry Potter Disinformation Wizard, Nina Jankowicz.

Biden had high hopes for this wannabe Mary Poppins, but it wasn’t meant to be, and we at Revolver are proud to have been a driving force in shutting her and her censorship dreams down.

Actually, we formally introduced the conservative world to Ms. Nina, the Singing Marxist.

But the establishment of the DHS’s Ministry of Disinformation wouldn’t be a proper intelligence community project unless it was absurd as well as dystopian. For the absurdity, we need to look no further than Nina Jankowicz, the disinformation wizard appointed to protect the American people from dangerous speech about illegal immigration and Russia.

So, who exactly is Nina Jankowicz? Certainly not a person with any concerns about preserving freedom of speech or expression. A quick look at her Twitter history is enough to dispel that. When Facebook permanently banned Donald Trump from its service, Nina was in the wings complaining that this punishment was not harsh enough. Through a metaphor, Nina explained that only mass bans on hundreds or thousands of accounts would be enough to “fix” the disinformation “problem.”

It’s as if Nina wakes up every morning and thinks, “How can I stifle dissenting opinions today?” She’s like a superhero, but instead of fighting for justice and liberty, she fights to silence anyone who dares to challenge the progressive regime.

The good news is that we caught this DEI agenda just in time, and the right has rallied against it with real force. Sure, there were some setbacks along the way, and the left managed to grab a few wins, but it came at a steep cost. The fight isn’t over, but now we’re in a prime position to tear down what’s left of this anti-American program—just a hollow skeleton of its former self.

And here’s the cherry on top: Marco Rubio, now one of the most powerful players in The Swamp, has evolved in ways we didn’t see coming. Once a hesitant ally, Rubio is now a firebrand for President Trump. Lucky for us, one of his main missions is taking a sledgehammer to the left’s censorship machine—and he’s doing it with gusto.
