Every once in a while, the good guys win. That’s exactly what happened to a white attorney who was threatened by a group of aggressive BLM radicals. When one of them got too close for comfort, she stood her ground and spat on him. That should have been the end of it—but instead, progressive activist cops turned it into a circus, arresting her for a so-called “hate crime.”

As if that wasn’t bad enough, their targeting, harassment, and abuse of this woman took things to an entirely new level of overreach. But in the end, their totalitarian shenanigans backfired spectacularly. She sued them for their ghastly behavior—and now, this attorney is spitting laughter right in the faces of those bullying, progressive cops.

Stephanie Rapkin was initially charged with a hate crime and served 60 days in jail

Protesters confronted her at her house the following day

Police responded, with one officer reportedly saying, “If she comes out, arrest her.”

The cops then “conspired to come up with a justification to break into her house” without a search warrant

Officers used a neighbor’s claim that Rapkin had taken sleeping medication as justification to enter her home under, calling it a welfare check

Bodycam footage shows them entering with guns and tasers drawn, while Rapkin questioned from the stairs, “Gentlemen, do you have a warrant?”

She claims she was shoved against a wall and yelled at

Protesters outside cheered as she was escorted to a police cruiser

Felony assault charges for allegedly kicking an officer were later dropped

In 2023, Rapkin sued the Shorewood Police Department, alleging her Fourth Amendment rights were violated

Let’s hope this is an expensive lesson for activist police officers who push unjust, anti-American, and immoral progressive agendas over going after real criminals. And let’s be honest—targeting an attorney probably wasn’t the smartest move either.

A white attorney who was caught spitting in the face of a Black Lives Matter protest leader in 2020 has won a $750,000 settlement over a botched arrest.

Stephanie Rapkin was convicted last year of disorderly conduct for spitting on Eric Patrick Lucas III as he led a march through the streets of Shorewood, Wisconsin on June 6, 2020.

She ultimately served 60 days in jail, after which she filed a federal lawsuit against the Village of Sherwood, the Village of Whitefish and eight police officers for their actions the day after the spitting incident when they broke down her door and took her away in cuffs, the Atlanta Black Star reports.

Protesters showed up outside her house on June 7, 2020 to confront Rapkin about the spitting incident, when she was filmed apparently shoving one of the demonstrators, Joe Friedman, after the two got into an argument about what had occurred the day before.

Rapkin had claimed at the time she was defending herself and that she spit in response to being attacked by Lucas – though the claims were not supported by the video – and tried to demonstrate the alleged attack by approaching Friedman and shoving him in the chest.

Another demonstrator then called Sherwood police, whom Rapkin claimed broke into her house without a warrant to arrest her.

She argued in her lawsuit that after the police reviewed Friedman’s cellphone footage, they knocked on her door for about 30 minutes, while discussing their plan to arrest her for disorderly conduct.

Those claims were backed up by police-worn body camera footage obtained by TMJ 4, which shows one cop telling another: ‘If she comes out, arrest her.’

When you picture “overreaching Gestapo cops,” this is exactly the kind of image that should come to mind.

But the cops then allegedly ‘conspired to come up with a justification to break into her house’ without ever considering obtaining a warrant, according to Rapkin’s federal suit filed in the US District Court for the Eastern District of Wisconsin in May 2023.

She claimed that the officers ultimately found a false pretense to enter the home, after speaking with a neighbor who informed them that she had taken a sleeping pill.

‘I know she took a dose this morning and then probably another couple of doses because she couldn’t get to sleep,’ the neighbor said in the police-worn body camera footage.

When cops then asked whether Rapkin was taking ‘multiple doses of sleeping medication,’ the neighbor replied that they were not sure.

At that point, the officers with the Village of Sherwood and the Village of Whitefish devised a plan to conduct a welfare check on her, the suit claims.

Footage of the arrest, however, shows cops breaking through the front door and entering Rapkin’s home with their guns and Tasers drawn.

Meanwhile, for months, the American people had to deal with the “Summer of Love” while cops sat back and watched the country burn and innocent people die. We were actually told to just let these people “get it out of their system.” Supposedly, their outrage stemmed from the death of a career criminal and drug addict (George Floyd), who resisted arrest. And for that, we were expected to sit back and tolerate riots that endangered our lives and communities.

That’s how “justice” works in this progressive version of America.

Too often, crooked cops, Soros-funded prosecutors, and activist judges team up to push the left’s Marxist agenda through fear and intimidation, with no regard for justice or fairness. Thankfully, this win sets a new precedent—one that could actually make these left-wing “public” activists think twice before targeting and arresting people to score political points.
