Want to see the liberal meltdown of the century? Of course you do. But youāre probably thinking, āIāve seen it all by now…ā Well, you aināt seen nothinā yet. Imagine if President Trump ran in 2028 and could legally serve another four years. The meltdown would be so epic, itās almost beyond imagination, right?
But could that really happen? Steve Bannon says maybeāand some legal bigwigs agree that it’s a possibility.
In theory, Bannon and Mike Davis argue that there’s a legal loophole that exists where a two-term president, who didn’t serve consecutively, could challenge the system and run for a third.
This entire scenario centers around the 22nd Amendment that states no one can be elected to the office of President more than twice.
But Bannon, who’s always looking for something bigger and better, says not so fast.
JUST IN: Steve Bannon says Trump should run again in 2028, as his terms were not consecutive
And the crowd at @NYYRC went WILD!
According to Mike Davis (@mrddmia), this IS a possibility, per Bannon
Should Trump run again in 2028??! š

Now, if President Trump ran again and won, could he actually serve? Thatās where things get a little tricky. The 22nd Amendment says you canāt be elected more than twice, but it doesnāt flat-out ban someone from serving if they find another way back into officeālike becoming Vice President and stepping up if the President resigns or canāt do the job.

Obviously, this hasn’t been tested in court because no oneās tried it yet. Could Trump be the first? Well, hereās the thing: the Constitution leaves just enough wiggle room to get Bannon and a few others thinking this could actually happen.
Would it go down like that? Honestly, probably notābut hey, crazier things have happened, right?
