President-elect Donald Trump has nominated Brendan Carr to lead the Federal Communications Commission (FCC). Carr, a Republican commissioner since 2017, is recognized for his critical stance on major tech companies and his advocacy for free speech. Carr has been vocal about reducing the legal protections afforded to online platforms under Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act, which shields them from liability for user-generated content. Here’s what Mr. Carr had to say about DEI within the FCC: “When it comes to the FCC’s promotion of DEI, I have just one thing to say: Afuera!”
Mr. Carr isn’t messing around when it comes to Big Tech. He’s gearing up to completely overhaul the weaponized social media platforms that the left has used to push their “disinformation” agenda, strong-arm CEOs into doing their bidding, and punish conservatives who dare to dissent against the regime.
