There have been a lot of jittery nerves online lately. Many Trump supporters were disappointed when Matt Gaetz withdrew his nomination for attorney general, thanks to Utah’s new RINO senator, John Curtis, vehemently opposing him, among others like Lisa Murkowski and Mitch McConnell.

But here’s the good news: President Trump has wasted no time nominating another America First warrior—Pam Bondi.

Still, the real panic came from a rumor that had Trump supporters tied up in knots—the idea that President Trump might nominate Deep State shill Mike Rogers as FBI Director. For many, the thought of replacing Christopher Wray with someone equally corrupt was just too much.

We made the case that Rogers would be Wray on steroids.

Revolver:

Let’s put it this way—if Mike Rogers becomes FBI Director, it’ll be like having “Chris Wray on steroids.” Honestly, at that point, we’d probably be better off just keeping Wray.

So, what is it about Rogers that’s so bad?

Well, he’s your typical “Think Tank Twerp,” sitting on every elitist council imaginable, endlessly pontificating about how the internet is a cesspool of “disinformation” that needs to be censored. You know the type. As Mike Benz so eloquently put it, if you give a flying fig about free speech, Mike Rogers is the absolute antithesis of what you want.

And if that’s not enough reason to keep Mr. Rogers as far away from the FBI as possible, there’s plenty more. How about an FBI director who wishes “warrants” weren’t a thing? Or someone who supports the crooked FISA process that’s been weaponized against President Trump and countless others?

But again, it was just a rumor—President Trump never said a word about Mike Rogers. Unfortunately, the freakouts unraveled anyway, with some hardcore supporters even speculating that Trump might be part of the Deep State if he moved forward with Rogers.

The rumors spread like wildfire, creating such a stir that Trump loyalist Dan Scavino took the chatter straight to the president. Thankfully, we now have confirmation from the boss himself—there will be no “Mike Rogers” nomination. In fact, according to Trump, Rogers was never even on the radar.

It’s always best to take these unnamed-source rumors with a grain of salt. Sure, it’s important to speak up and let President Trump know how you feel—after all, he listens to his base. But we also need to remember that most of the time, these rumors are planted to sow chaos, confusion, and division within the powerful MAGA movement. And for some reason, we always seem to fall for it.
