Brace yourselves, because there will be countless meltdowns over the next four years. But the uproar over Matt Gaetz’s nomination for Attorney General might just be one for the record books—and Trump hasn’t even been inaugurated yet. The media, the left, and GOP RINOs like John Cornyn, who actually wanted to be the next Senate Majority Leader, are in absolute hysterics over the idea of Gaetz, a brilliant attorney and relentless fighter, becoming the next Attorney General.

These people are attacking Matt Gaetz as a “joke” and labeling him a “troll.” But here’s the thing: if Gaetz really were some total joke, they’d welcome him as AG.
But he’s not.
The truth is, they’re terrified because they know he’s serious about taking on the Deep State, and he’s got the plans to do it, as the liberal reporter Benjy Sarlin of Semafor acknowledged earlier.
One thing about Matt Gaetz I think is misunderstood: He’s a smart tactical thinker with real goals. People treating him as a clown pick rather than a power move with lots of baggage are wrong on that part. If he becomes AG, he won’t just immediately implode, he’ll have plans.

For anyone out there who doesn’t grasp the power and poise Rep. Gaetz brings to the table, former ABC News political director Mark Halperin has a warning: Matt is the real deal.
“Those of you who think he’s evil, that because he’s faced investigations and accusations he’s corrupt, who think that he’s not a serious person at all, I disabuse you of those things,” says @MarkHalperin of Matt Gaetz. “I’ve spent enough time with him to know that the cartoon of who he is, is not true. Now, those of you who defend him and say this is a great pick, I think the jury’s out on that … But I can tell you again, I watched the cartoon version of Matt Gaetz, and I know the version that I’ve spent some time with. They’re not the same. So have an open mind.”

So while the media melts down, acting as if Trump has done the unthinkable by nominating someone they claim can’t be taken seriously, Senator Ron Johnson delivered the perfect response.
Sen. Johnson put everybody in their place when he held up a photo of two Biden cross-dressing appointees—men in nylons and dresses, one of whom was actually fired after being arrested for stealing luggage—and asked if anybody harassed Dems over those two freaks.
Of course, the irony was probably lost on these so-called “reporters.” But anyone not suffering from the woke mind virus or Stage 5 TDS gets it loud and clear: we don’t want to hear any whining about “joke” or “radical” nominees after the sideshow this administration has put America through for nearly four years.
Senator Ron Johnson is a total gangster.
Reporters asked him his opinion on Matt Gaetz, and he unfolded a printout of the picture of Rachel Levine and Sam Brinton and asked reporters whether they harassed Democrats over those nominees 😂 pic.twitter.com/IymQOLaHrq

This is exactly the energy we need. Many in the GOP are now emboldened by President Trump and his historic mandate from We the People. They’re finally standing up and saying what they really think, without fear of being pummeled by the mob—which isn’t nearly as powerful as it once was—or the media, which grows more irrelevant by the day. It’s long overdue, and it’s fantastic to see.
The 2nd highest-ranking Republican in the Senate just complimented President Trump for nominating Matt Gaetz for AG, calling it a "BOLD" decision
"Everyone that he has nominated so is far better than the people that are in there right now."
