Many on the left believe Kamala Harris lost the election simply because she refused to go on Joe Rogan’s podcast. That seems like a stretch to us, given Kamala’s inability to handle unscripted interviews—just look at the calamity that unfolded when she sat down with Fox News’ Bret Baier. However, we do agree that Dems ignored “alternative media” at their own peril. But to succeed on any media platform, you need to have at least a glimmer of personality, and, unfortunately for the Dems, Kamala was sorely lacking in that department.

So, aside from the obvious fear of another “Fox News” debacle, why did Kamala refuse to go on Joe Rogan? Well, no need to wonder—we now have the answer, and it’s classic left-wing stupidity. According to a new report, Kamala didn’t appear on Rogan’s #1 podcast, which could’ve given her a much-needed boost with young white male voters, simply because some black staffers believed Joe Rogan was… wait for it… Hitler.

That’s the word from investor Santiago Pliego, who said a source very close to Harris revealed what went down.

You can’t make this stuff up, folks.

Here’s a close-up of the image:

The message above seems to be at least partly confirmed by this new report. While it doesn’t go as far as admitting that black staffers called Rogan “Hitler,” it does reveal there was backlash from progressives on Kamala’s team. And it’s not exactly a leap or anything to imagine a left-wing progressive calling somebody “Hitler,” right?

Financial Times:

Kamala Harris’s fears of a progressive backlash killed a plan for her to appear on Joe Rogan’s podcast, a campaign official has said, shedding light on a decision that infuriated some Democrats who are reeling after Donald Trump’s election victory.

The Harris campaign and Rogan, whose audience is bigger than that of many television networks, had discussed an interview for his podcast — a move some Democrats hoped would help Harris reach young men who were gravitating towards Trump.

The talks faltered because of concerns at how the interview would be perceived within the Democratic party, said Jennifer Palmieri, a senior adviser to Harris’s husband, Doug Emhoff.

“There was a backlash with some of our progressive staff that didn’t want her to be on it, and how there would be a backlash,” Palmieri said on Wednesday.

Palmieri, who previously worked in the White House and for Hillary Clinton’s 2016 campaign, is among the first officials from the Harris campaign to go into detail over a decision that some Democrats fear may have contributed to their loss.

Just over a week after Harris’s heavy defeat, the party is hunting for scapegoats, with some operatives blaming President Joe Biden. Others have said the campaign flubbed its media strategy and was too cautious with alternative outlets.

In the end, Rogan ended up endorsing President Trump, and later, he talked about some of the reactions people had to that.

End Tribalism in Politics:

Joe Rogan: “There’s a lot of people that don’t speak their mind.”

“Do you know how many artists like musicians/comedians that thanked me for endorsing Trump because they can’t do it.”

“They said they want to, but they don’t wanna be attacked. They can’t say it. They think the country is going in the wrong direction.”

“Trump has vowed to have free speech become a very important part of what he’s standing for and that this censoring of information needs to stop and that we need to stop all government influence in what people have to say.”

There’s no doubt that Trump’s appearance on Rogan, along with Joe’s endorsement, helped secure the White House for President Trump.

And let’s not forget, JD Vance also went on Rogan’s show and resonated with the public in a big way. Imagine if Tampon Tim had gone on Rogan’s podcast?

The point is, neither Tim Walz nor Kamala Harris are the kind of candidates who could ever go on a show like Rogan’s—and that’s the real problem. Americans have turned on the old-school, smarmy politician who’s all talk, carefully scripted lines, and polished doublespeak. Today, people are craving leaders who are real, relatable, and down-to-earth—someone they’d actually trust to sit down and speak honestly, without dodging or spinning every question.

But Tim and Kamala don’t fit that bill. They’re too wrapped up in their political personas, too afraid of being “off-script” in front of a massive audience that doesn’t buy into their phony, over-coached image. That’s why they would never have stood a chance on a show like Rogan’s—and, ultimately, why they never stood a chance to win.

Do we believe Kamala backed out of the interview because of “Literally Hitler” backlash? Meh. Seems a little fishy. Look, we don’t doubt that some staffers called Rogan “Hitler” and threw toddler-style tantrums about Harris appearing on his podcast—we’d be surprised if they didn’t—but that was likely just the excuse she needed to avoid sitting in that hot seat. Let’s face it: when you’re a DEI candidate, and everyone knows it, the last place you want to be is in front of 20 million people, especially guys who’ll troll you to no end if you slip up. And let’s be honest, Kamala would’ve made a hundred wrong moves in just a couple of hours.
