Is Fetterman about to take a handful of “red pills?”
No. Probably not. Look, we’re not suggesting Fetterman’s the next Elon Musk or RFK Jr.—he’s still firmly planted on the other side of the aisle. But let’s be real: out of all the Democrats currently in the spotlight, we will concede that he seems like the one closest to that pivotal “red pill” moment. After his appearance on Joe Rogan, where he showed some hesitation in fully endorsing the left’s more radical agenda, people can’t help but wonder if there’s hope for John yet. While most Democrats have gone off the deep end, seeing even a sliver of sanity poking through raises the question—could more enlightenment be on the horizon for Senator Fetterman? Well, after watching big shifts from Musk, Shanahan, Gabbard, and Kennedy, is it really so outlandish to wonder?
As we mentioned, Fetterman recently appeared on Joe Rogan’s show, where Joe skillfully set up the topic of the “Great Replacement Theory.” And after a lot of hemming and hawing and a major back-and-forth, Fetterman finally conceded: yes, Democrats could be using mass immigration to tilt the US more toward the Democratic Party.
Duh.

Some might argue we’re already living in a one-party nation, with the so-called two-party system being nothing more than an illusion—the “uniparty” pulling the strings behind the scenes. And they wouldn’t be wrong. But here’s the twist: MAGA. President Trump’s movement has tossed a serious wrench into the uniparty’s plans, creating a desperate need to cultivate more “Dem” voters. And in a country growing increasingly weary of failed left-wing policies, the only way to meet that demand is to import those voters through an open border.
Say what you will about Fetterman, but he was willing to concede a fact that no other Democrat would, and that’s because Fetterman shows signs of living in the “real world” often, something else no other Dem is currently doing.
Back on August 8th, Fetterman predicted that Trump would win PA against Kamala Harris.
Senator John Fetterman:
Donald Trump will win Pennsylvania in the 2024 election.— 🇺🇸 Pismo 🇺🇸 (@Pismo_B) August 8, 2024
In addition, John didn’t shy away from the assassination talk like nearly every other Democrat did. In fact, Fetterman openly compared Trump’s massive surge in Pennsylvania to the assassination attempt in Butler, PA—putting it right out there without hesitation. And he was right again.
Fetterman: Pennsylvania support for Trump deepened after ass@ssination attempt in Butler.
I like Fetterman a little more. He speaks the truth. Is he a closet Trump supporter ? pic.twitter.com/XIPMX4fDfv

Just a week ago, Fetterman was out there calling Trump’s “enthusiasm” in Pennsylvania very real. Was this a warning to Kamala, or a sharp jab at her campaign? Most would say it’s the latter.
And now, just days before the election on November 3rd, Fetterman’s on CNN, openly admitting that President Trump connected with Pennsylvania voters far better than Kamala ever did.
This is a deathblow to the Harris campaign.

Aside from Kamala—one of the worst candidates in U.S. history—and President Trump, arguably one of the best, no one has done more to sink Team Harris in Pennsylvania than Fetterman himself, thanks to this media blitz he’s been unleashing involving Trump’s wild successes in PA.
And it’s a strange turn indeed; after all, Fetterman was once considered to be a rising progressive star, but not anymore.
There was a time when John Fetterman, the rough-and-ready Pennsylvania senator, was a budding star of the left.
Endorsed by Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez in his 2022 Democratic race, Fetterman had supported the democratic socialist Bernie Sanders for president in 2016. On the campaign trail, Fetterman said he would fight for an increased minimum wage, while he had previously suggested he wanted to see the implementation of universal healthcare.
But in recent months, Fetterman has come under attack from the left for his enthusiastic support for Israel and continued US funding to its war in Gaza. The criticism has come alongside praise from Republicans for Fetterman’s chiding of some Democrats over what he has called a “crisis at our border”.
The growing distance between Fetterman and the left of his party came to a head in December.
“I’m not a progressive, I’m just a regular Democrat,” Fetterman wrote on X that same month.
Fetterman is either fed up with the left’s antics and is making a slow transition or he’s fuming over the soft coup against Biden, a man he once supported wholeheartedly. Or maybe it’s a bit of both. Fetterman hasn’t hidden his frustration with the pro-Palestinian forces in his party. Or maybe this is his way of taking a swing at Kamala’s campaign to defend his old friend Biden, who’s been tossed aside like yesterday’s news.
Here’s what some conservative folks are saying online:
“Fetterman is an enigma”
“John has the potential to get red pilled, if PA goes heavy for Trump don’t be surprised”
“He’s not there yet, but Fetterman could have a change of heart”
“He came in as a Marxist not that long ago, and is already a moderate, so something is happening with John Fetterman.”
“He went from a progressive ‘Squad guy’ to an old school Democrat really fast. Anything can happen these days.”
“I think he’s pissed that Biden got ousted and is sabotaging but maybe a seed was planted that will sprout down the road?”
Fetterman is likely wrestling with a Democratic Party that’s gone too far left—even for a “former” Marxist like him. But it’s no surprise. He’s a Pennsylvania guy, from a state with deep blue-collar roots, now operating on the national stage as a US Senator. If he’s eyeing bigger career moves, he knows he can’t do it as a radical “Squad” member, especially with their brand of politics in a nosedive. For a career politician like Fetterman, politics is a game of survival. And while some might think he’s the next “red-pilled” Democrat, it’s more likely he’s rebranding himself as a “sane Dem”—a bit like Bill Maher. He’s positioning himself to stand out when the party inevitably implodes after the 2024 election.
