The most important First Amendment case in this country has just been placed back on the front burner again, thanks to late night Trump-hater Jimmy Kimmel.
Kimmel used federal airwaves to spread an anti-Trump Election Day “misinformation” joke, leaving many wondering when he’ll be facing prison time. After all, what Kimmel just did on national TV was far less of an “offense” than Douglass Mackey’s satirical anti-Hillary meme, which humorously told people to “text” their vote instead of waiting in line and was shared on Twitter.
Take a look:

Well, Mr. Kimmel should now be in a boat load of trouble, right? After all, according to the Harris/Biden DOJ, the American people just aren’t savvy enough to understand that “election” satire are jokes. So, naturally, people need to be prosecuted to the full extent of the law.
Hey, we don’t make the rules, Jimmy.
That’s the reasoning that was used when the Harris/Biden regime decided to go after Douglass Mackey. They tried and convicted him for simply sharing a funny anti-Hillary meme on social media, and in the process, they created the biggest First Amendment nightmare in US history.
We’ve covered the Mackey case from every angle, and to this day, we still believe it’s the most important First Amendment case ever. And we’re not alone. Tucker Carlson, back when he was still hosting on Fox News, covered the Mackey case every chance he got. He understood the far-reaching consequences of Mackey’s conviction—and he was right.
If the First Amendment means anything, it means that what's happening to Douglass Mackey is an outrage. It should end immediately. pic.twitter.com/wX52zIw9mJ

Meanwhile, a liberal comedian by the name of Kristina Wong did the same exact joke, but took it a step further by actually dressing up as a Trump supporter, yet, nothing happened to her and her tweet was never deleted.
Why?
In 2016 @mskristinawong posted a tweet and video jokingly trying to trick Trump voters into not voting. Douglas Mackey did the exact same thing to Hillary voters. The DOJ just threw Mackey in prison. Wong was never charged with anything, and this tweet is still up. pic.twitter.com/8stqn0n1oS

We know exactly why…
The persecution of Douglass Mackey wasn’t about “justice.” It was about silencing dissent and punishing him for making political elites the butt of countless jokes. His “crime”? Mocking those in power. His punishment? Facing seven months in a federal prison.
Mackey is currently appealing his conviction, but taking on the Harris/Biden regime and the entire Deep State isn’t cheap. So, when Elon Musk offered to assist those who’ve lost everything for exercising their First Amendment rights, we knew Mackey was a prime example of a case Elon should consider funding.
Last August, Elon Musk offered to pay the legal bills for users who “were unfairly treated by your employer due to posting or liking something on this platform.” He has followed through by funding lawsuits from former Mandalorian star Gina Carano, whom Disney fired over tweets critical of J6 hysteria; Chloe Happe, or @bronzeageshawty, whom Jack Dorsey’s company Block fired for politically incorrect tweets about transgenders; and Dr. Kulvinder Kaur Gill, a Canadian physician whom the old Twitter regime censored and who faced state-sponsored “cautions” being placed on her permanent public record for questioning the efficacy of lockdowns and vaccines.
If Musk wants to continue to defend the free speech of X users in court, the most important case now is the government’s unjust prosecution of Doug Mackey. Mackey was sentenced to seven months in prison for posting a meme about Hillary Clinton last year and is appealing his case to the Second Circuit Court of Appeals on Friday.
Beyond being “the most shocking attack on freedom of speech in this country in our lifetimes,” according to Tucker Carlson, the old regime at Twitter was instrumental in Mackey’s prosecution, and the FBI has used it as precedent to continue to harass X.
Revolver has already written extensively on Mackey’s case. To recap: Douglass Mackey ran the legendary pro-Trump anonymous account @RickyVaughn99 prior to the 2016 election. He posted two memes on 4chan that joked that you could vote by text message and posted them on his account. Four years later, less than a week into the Biden administration, FBI agents showed up at his house and arrested him under 18 USC 241, conspiracy against civil rights—a law enacted to punish Klan violence. Prosecutors could not produce a single person who took the meme seriously, let alone failed to vote because of it.
To make matters worse, the government indicted Mackey in Brooklyn’s Eastern District of New York, where Clinton’s campaign was headquartered, and she won 79% of the vote. Neither Mackey nor his “co-conspirators” (i.e., members of pro-Trump group chats) ever set foot in the district. At trial, the Southern Poverty Law Center intimidated one of Mackey’s expert witnesses from testifying by threatening to go contact his employer, and the judge allowed it.
The Brooklyn jury convicted Mackey after nearly a week of deadlock. An Obama-appointed judge sentenced him to seven months in prison… for a meme. As President Trump succinctly put it, “They are putting Douglass Mackey in jail for sharing a joking meme about Hillary Clinton seven years ago. Nobody ever heard of anything like that.”

Dear Elon: America Needs You to Back Doug Mackey’s First Amendment Fight
In light of Kimmel’s recent “joke” and Elon’s earlier offer, Mr. Mackey has sent a direct message to Elon Musk, once again appealing for help with his case.
I’ve been illegally prosecuted by the Deep State for expressing my political views (comedy) on X (then Twitter).

Liberal comedians like Kristina Wong and Jimmy Kimmel are not being prosecuted for making the same jokes.

We badly could use your help in fighting my case in the 2nd Circuit Court of Appeals so that comedy is not made illegal. DM me and I’ll be happy to put you in touch with my legal team if you’re interested in helping.
Thanks,
@elonmusk!

Look, we don’t believe Jimmy Kimmel should go to jail for making an Election Day joke—it was clearly a joke. The same goes for Douglass Mackey, who shared a satirical meme meant to poke fun at the cluelessness of the average Hillary Clinton supporter. But we don’t make the rules; the Harris/Biden regime does. And they set a precedent with Douglass Mackey. So, by that logic, shouldn’t Mr. Kimmel and Democrat activist Kristina Wong both have the FBI pounding on their doors at dawn?
Sadly, the part of this joke that isn’t the least bit funny is the destruction of our justice system and the toll it takes on innocent Americans. Doug is now in hundreds of thousands of dollars of legal debt.
Whether Elon funds it or not, it’s imperative that anyone who cares about internet freedom continue to support Doug’s appeal. You can do so via one of the following methods:
