President Trump survived an assassination attempt, emerging stronger than ever. The world watched a warrior—shot in the head—pause in the middle of the chaos and raise his fist in defiance of death, the deep state, and the violent radical left, urging his followers to fight on. It was a historical moment, destined to be remembered as one of the most iconic and profoundly human moments in US political history.

President Trump’s heroic response to the assassination attempt left many Americans in awe and created a wave of support. Following the incident, Trump received a flood of high-profile endorsements, including Elon Musk, Jake Paul, and Jim Caviezel.

Of course, the biggest name to step forward is Elon Musk. Right after the assassination attempt, he was quick to throw his full support behind President Trump.

NBC News:

Elon Musk posted on X that he “fully” endorses Donald Trump moments after the former president and presumptive Republican nominee was rushed off stage by secret service members following gunshots at a rally in Pennsylvania on Saturday.

“I fully endorse President Trump and hope for his rapid recovery,” Musk wrote on X, which he owns.

But Elon’s not the only big name coming out to support Trump. Speaking of billionaires, Bill Ackman, who has been flirting with a Trump endorsement for months, also came out of the Trump closet.

Reuters:

Billionaire hedge fund manager Bill Ackman endorsed U.S. former President Donald Trump on Saturday in the Republican’s rematch race against President Joe Biden, shortly after Trump was shot in the ear at a campaign rally.

“I am going to formally endorse @realDonaldTrump,” Ackman posted on social media platform X. “I assure you that I have made this decision carefully, rationally, and by relying on as much empirical data as possible”.

Ackman followed Tesla CEO Elon Musk, who endorsed Trump and expressed “hope for his rapid recovery” from the shooting, in which Trump was hit in the upper right ear but said by his campaign to be doing fine.

Ackman’s endorsement marks a change from 2021. After the attack by Trump supporters on the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, Ackman posted that Trump should “resign and apologize to all Americans.”

The chief executive and portfolio manager of Pershing Square Capital Management said he had recently spent a few hours with Trump but did not explain the reasoning behind his endorsement.

He said it would take another long-form post to lay out his thinking. “I just haven’t had the time nor felt the urgency to write the post as we are still a few months from the election,” he said.

Ackman’s endorsement did not mention Saturday’s shooting. He alluded to it in a later post: “We are in the midst of a perilous moment for our democracy.”

“I came to this decision some time ago as many X followers have already understood from my supportive posts of Trump and my criticisms of Biden,” Ackman said. He has 1.3 million followers on X.

Ackman had considered endorsing Trump as recently as May, and had planned to announce his support on X, Reuters and other media outlets reported.

Jake Paul also came out strong for the former president.

And, of course, the great Connor McGregor.

However, the list goes on.

Interestingly, many NFL players—a group often labeled as politically correct and predominantly black, not exactly MAGA fans—are showing their support for President Trump. Both black and white players are stepping up. It makes sense, though. These athletes battle it out on the field every week and they see in Trump a fellow fighter. Despite the hits, he’s still swinging. That kind of grit resonates with them.

Raider’s star Maxx Crosby didn’t hold back. He posted a photo with President Trump and slapped on three “goat” emojis to seal the deal—Greatest of All Time. Yes, indeed.

Texas quarterback Quinn Ewers took to social media to support Donald Trump.

So did fellow Texas quarterback Arch Manning, of the great Manning football family.

Baltimore Ravens player Marlon Humphrey summed it best.

New York Jets cornerback Sauce Gardner posted the iconic photo of Trump with tthe caption, “ladies & gentlemen….President Donald Trump,” accompanied by an American flag emoji.

Former NFL player Antonio Brown, who is hilarious on X, endorsed Trump.

He went so far as to say that President Trump has done more for black people than Biden.

BREAKING: Former NFL player Antonio Brown says former President Donald Trump did more for black people than Biden.

Brown also says that he has “admiration” for Trump for several reasons.

“I’ve never met him. I’ve got admiration for his business moves, and I study his dad, Fred Trump. But I think Donald Trump is a good businessman, and comes from a good family, and has been a good president.”

Former NFL quarterback Jay Cutler also endorsed President Trump:

It’s curious to see NFL players coming out in support of Trump, while NBA players seem more hesitant.

Are they not supporters, or are they just scared to show their stance publicly? One NBA player, Mitchell Robinson of the New York Knicks, isn’t holding back, though. He recently shared that iconic photo on his Instagram, making his support pretty darn clear.

Folks, at the end of the day, take note of who’s rallying behind President Trump right now. It’s the innovators, the football players, and the fighters—people who are used to competing and succeeding. They recognize a kindred spirit in President Trump, and maybe it’s time the rest of America did too.
