Are Gen Z frat boys going to be the unsung heroes who save America? Probably not, but that’s what many people are asking after a group of white frat boys protected the American flag from angry anti-white pro-Hamas supporters at UNC Chapel Hill. The group stood around the flag to keep the left-wingers from destroying it, and even though they were pelted with debris, they kept watch and even smirked a little in the process.

They did this by smirking triumphantly as they rallied around the American flag. These frat brothers were pelted by crazed pro-Hamas supporters at UNC Chapel Hill while they protected the American flag as it was re-hoisted following its removal by protesters.

In today’s divisive left-wing mob climate, where so many Americans hesitate to stand up and speak out, it’s truly inspiring to see these young men—often vilified by the left—step into the spotlight and take a stand.

The patriot smirk is back: Frat boys retake college campus with American flag…

The saga of the young frat boys at UNC Chapel Hill continues. This time around, they went head-to-head with a plump, hysterical pro-Hamas protester who was clearly not ready for a dialogue. She found out the hard way that not everyone’s on board with tiptoeing around tough topics. Sometimes, calling it like you see it—calling a spade a spade—might just be the most straightforward approach. What’s your take? Do you agree with this no-nonsense style that this young man opted to use?

Whether you agree or disagree, one thing is for sure: This group definitely believes in protecting their flag and their country. One of the young men who stood guard over Old Glory said he loved the flag and would die for it.

A North Carolina student has responded after he and several of his college friends were seen protecting an American flag from a “Marxist horde” on their campus while getting assaulted by the mob of pro-Hamas protesters.

One of the patriotic students, Dan Stompel, said the protesters would have had to yank the flag from him over his “dead body.”

Anti-Israel protesters targeted the American flag on The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill’s quad on Tuesday.

The flag had been flying at half-mast after four Charlotte officers were killed in the line of duty.

At one point, the anti-Israel protesters tore down Old Glory and replaced it with a Palestinian flag.

However, this move enraged patriotic students and inspired members of the Pi Kappa Phi fraternity to take action.

“I don’t understand how people can act like this,” said Stompel, a junior studying political science at the university.

Stompel was one of over a few dozen students who stood up to a huge mob of hundreds as they tried to desecrate the American flag.

In response, Stompel and his fellow classmates surrounded the flag and held onto to it for over an hour until police were able to clear the protest and safely hoist it back onto the flagpole.

At one point, the junior made a “joke” about how they would respond if the mob tried to stop them.

“I was like, ‘I’d die for this flag.’ And everybody was like, ‘Yeah.’ If they got any closer then we’re going to start throwing hands,” he said.

“We’re not going anywhere, I don’t care.

“They’re going to have to tear me off this flag over my dead body,” Stompel said.

You’ve got to hand it to these brave young men. In a time when too many folks steer clear of the fray or quickly apologize when the going gets tough, these guys are a different breed. They’re not shying away from confrontation. Instead, they’re stepping up, ready to go head-to-head with some of the most nasty progressives out there. They know better than most what it takes to hold their ground and win against a Marxist.
