When people mention the meme “clown world,” you might think they’re being hyperbolic or ironic. After all, can an entire country really turn into a laughable, backwards circus? Well, sadly, the answer is yes, it can. The United States of America is proving it every single day, as we watch the left continue to push their insane, twisted policies. There’s a new story out of San Francisco that has a lot of people talking, and for all the wrong reasons.

As you know by now, San Francisco, once the magically beautiful city by the bay, has morphed into a literal cesspool of filth, feces, drugs, and crime. It’s become basically uninhabitable for many, and numerous businesses have thrown in the towel, opting to cut and run.

Let’s face it, without law and order, successful businesses simply can’t thrive. That’s just the way it is.

But the saga of what’s happening in San Francisco stretches far beyond the economic collapse. There’s a deeply human aspect to this tragedy, which is equally devastating and even more heartbreaking. The drug crisis in the City by the Bay has hit pandemic proportions. And what’s the solution from the progressive putz’s who’ve driven the city into the ground? Tighten border security to cut off drug flows. Not a chance. Boost the police force and empower them to take action. Hardly. Instead, they launch programs that normalize drug use, practically turning it into a city-sponsored activity.

Drugs are destroying San Francisco’s most densely populated and desirable neighborhoods, as more and more addicts, many of them homeless, fill the streets. Politicians and activists are pushing “harm reduction,” which, in a clinical sense, means a “set of practical strategies and ideas aimed at reducing negative consequences associated with drug use,” such as overdose or the transmission of disease. But in a contemporary context, it also means “a movement for social justice built on a belief in, and respect for, the rights of people who use drugs.”

The Department of Public Health distributes 4.45 million needles each year to the city’s 22,000 intravenous drug users. Heroin and prescription opioids are the most injected substances, though use of methamphetamines and Fentanyl is on the rise. It’s true that sterile needles reduce the transmission of blood-borne infections, and injecting narcotics under supervision can lower the risk of overdose and death. But harm reduction goes far beyond promoting these kinds of needle-safety measures. For example, At the Crossroads, a nonprofit, assembled “safe snorting kits” for at-risk and homeless youth. Baggies were filled with straws, chopping mats, plastic razor blades, and instruction sheets. Other groups offer crack-cocaine “safe-smoking” kits. A proposal to open “safe injection” sites, opposed by Jerry Brown, is favored by Governor Gavin Newsom, and is likely to succeed.

Hooray for left-wing policies, right? If they don’t kill you first, they’ll absolutely maim and bankrupt you.

Which brings us to the latest insanity—the tipping point that has even well-adjusted, normal folks shouting ‘ENOUGH!’ and wondering if it’s time to part ways with the left, who at this point, seem simply ungovernable.

The latest hullabaloo centers around this fresh, new debacle out of San Francisco—we’re sorry to report, but those progressive putzes are at it again. They’re now doling out taxpayer-funded shots of booze to homeless alcoholics. Gee, what could possibly go wrong?

And Auron’s observation really hit home. He’s right. The left truly is ungovernable, and we either break free or tear the whole thing down, brick by commie brick.

Auron’s terms are acceptable, and his take actually jives with an opinion column written recently by the mysterious pseudonymous commentator “Raw Egg Nationalist,” who recently asked, “Are leftists retards?”

But what exactly would such a breakup entail? Marjorie Taylor Greene has been advocating for this “national divorce” for some time now.

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene called for the U.S. to be separated by red and blue states and for shrinking the federal government in a tweet on President’s Day, the latest in a string of controversial statements.

“We need a national divorce. We need to separate by red states and blue states and shrink the federal government,” Greene, R-Ga., said in the tweet. “Everyone I talk to says this. From the sick and disgusting woke culture issues shoved down our throats to the Democrat’s traitorous America Last policies, we are done.”

Talking about breaking up the United States might sound fanatical or far-fetched, and indeed, it’s much easier said than done. Many argue it could never happen without conflict, possibly escalating to another full-blown civil war. Yet the stark reality is that our nation is divided along impossibly deep lines. We’re at a crossroads where, if the left-wing radicals don’t stand down, some form of “national divorce” might become our only solution. It’s a dire situation, but the truth is this: the perverted, Marxist left and the traditional Christian right simply cannot coexist in harmony.
