Joe Biden might say his Corvette goes “vroom,” but it looks like his campaign has completely stalled out, not just in the Motor City but across the whole state of Michigan. President Trump is now cruising ahead with a commanding lead in the “Mitten” state, and after Biden’s recent policy decision, it seems like his chances are hitting a dead end. The Biden regime has proposed new emission standards requiring that 70 percent of all vehicle sales by 2032 must be electric.
Meanwhile, Ford and other car makers are cutting back on failed EV programs.
Ford Motor is rethinking its electric vehicle strategies, including “reassessing” the need for in-house production of batteries, CEO Jim Farley said Tuesday.
The Detroit automaker previously confirmed plans to delay or cut $12 billion in spending on all-electric vehicles, but the comments made Tuesday are the most detailed about Ford’s changing plans for EVs, sales of which are growing at a slower-than-expected rate.
Biden’s green agenda is dead in the water, but it seems as if nobody’s bothered to tell him.
So, can we call this a bloodbath yet?
Joe’s move will absolutely cost him Michigan, which appears to be firmly in Trump’s corner now, and with an 8-point lead that’s only expected to grow with this latest Biden blunder. As it stands now, Trump is smoothly sailing the Great Lakes with confidence, and Biden is helping him with these ghastly policy decisions.
Donald Trump held an eight-percentage-point lead over Joe Biden in Michigan while tying with his Democratic rival in Pennsylvania, according to a pair of new polls released Friday.
The former president garnered 50 percent support from surveyed Michigan voters compared to Biden’s 42 percent in a hypothetical matchup, according to the CNN poll. In Pennsylvania, Trump and Biden both earned 46 percent of the vote.
It’s incredible to see, but not surprising.

The reasons behind Biden’s failure in Michigan are, of course, very layered. Some argue he lost Michigan back in 2020, and they’d probably be right. Yet, the challenges Biden faces today in the Great Lakes State are similar to those nationwide—a cruddy economy, sky-high inflation, soaring crime, the illegal invasion at the border, and his senile, lackluster leadership. But there are a couple more issues dragging him down even further in Michigan. First, the Israel-Palestine conflict is particularly resonant in Michigan, given its massive Muslim population. And perhaps the final straw for Biden’s chances in Michigan, also known as the Motor City, is his absurd push against gas-powered vehicles, just as his “electric vehicle” agenda comes crashing down all around him.
The Biden administration has finalized a slate of highly-anticipated environmental regulations curbing gas-powered vehicle tailpipe emissions as part of its broader efforts to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and combat global warming.
In a joint announcement Wednesday, the White House and Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) unveiled the most aggressive multi-pollutant emission standards ever finalized. While the regulations target gas-powered vehicles, they are explicitly designed to push wider nationwide adoption of electric vehicles (EV) and, according to officials, are expected to ensure nearly 70% of all new car sales are zero-emissions within a few years.
“President Biden is investing in America, in our workers, and in the unions that built our middle class and established the U.S. auto sector as a leader in the world,” White House National Climate Advisor Ali Zaidi said in a statement. “The President’s agenda is working.”
“With transportation as the largest source of U.S. climate emissions, these strongest-ever pollution standards for cars solidify America’s leadership in building a clean transportation future and creating good-paying American jobs, all while advancing President Biden’s historic climate agenda,” added EPA administrator Michael Regan.
The message is clear, and Michigan is listening.
Hey Detroit United Auto Workers. There goes your future should you vote for Biden in November.

The Biden administration seems hell-bent on declaring war on gasoline, pressing forward with a “green agenda” that lacks the necessary infrastructure to even get off the ground. At this stage, Biden’s “green policies” are poised to hike up costs across the board, hitting us at a moment when wages are lagging and Americans are already drowning in debt and struggling with skyrocketing inflation. If this is his version of “Build Back Better,” one shudders to think what he’d consider a “failure.” But without a Trump 2024 victory, we’re all on track to find out, whether we like it or not. Scary.
