It’s not about being a fan of Biden’s backers, but when they start to question their progressive beliefs or get to the point of outright frustration, it’s definitely worth talking about. This brings us to ESPN’s Stephen A. Smith, a Democrat who’s clearly had it with Biden. He’s calling out some pretty harsh truths, sparking quite the buzz. Take, for instance, when Stephen nailed it by slamming Biden for engaging in “lawfare.” He, along with anyone with half a brain, sees this for what it is: a strategy being used because Biden and his team know he doesn’t stand a chance against President Trump in a fair fight.

Let’s be clear: Stephen has been out there pushing this sort of “anti-Biden” message for a while now. This is an article The Hill published back in January:

Stephen A. Smith is calling out Democrats for relying on an octogenarian such as President Biden to beat former President Trump at the ballot box.

“It is an absolute disgrace on the part of the Democratic Party — Democrats, liberals … progressives — and you’re begging an 82-year-old man to run for reelection,” Smith said in a Tuesday interview on SiriusXM’s “The Howard Stern Show.”

“What the hell have you been doing that in the year 2024 you have to rely on an 82-year-old to beat a 78-year-old man with four indictments, 91 counts against him?” Smith asked.

Biden is 81, while Trump is 77.

“How the hell are we sitting here in the year 2024 and that’s what you need in order to beat him?” the ESPN personality and podcast host exclaimed to Stern.

“Not Nikki Haley. Not Chris Christie. Not even Ron DeSantis,” Smith continued.

“No, you need an 82-year-old man to run for reelection because you could not come up — over the span of the last six, seven years — you couldn’t come up with a candidate that’s more capable of beating Donald Trump,” Smith said.

“I think that is the ultimate indictment against the Democratic Party. I think that they have dropped the ball on a litany of issues, which are things I’ve told some of them to their face,” Smith, who described himself as an independent, said.

Smith recently called out Biden’s “Hitler-esque” State of the Union address. Stephen says any Democrat who thought that performance was a victory is “smoking crack.”

Washington Times:

Not so fast, says Stephen A. Smith.

Anyone who thinks last week’s State of the Union speech cancels all concerns about President Biden‘s mental strength and acuity is “smoking crack,” the ESPN sports personality and commentator said.

Mr. Smith took political umbrage at the praise from Democrats that Mr. Biden was behaving energetically, rather than in the low-toned mumbles that have marred many of his recent public performances.

“What the h—- does that mean, that Joe Biden looked like he had energy last night?” Mr. Smith asked on Friday’s episode of his self-named radio show, according to a report in the Washington Examiner. “The question is, can you rely on him to do that for four years, starting next year?”

“He gives a speech for an hour and 10 minutes or so on a weeknight in March of 2024, and, suddenly, that warrants four more years for a dude that’s gonna turn 82 years of age in November and is expected to give four more years after that?”

[…]

“He didn’t look that way last night,” he said. “Give him credit for that, but it doesn’t amount to a hill of beans in the grand scheme of things when you [are] talking about four more years.”

“If you think that an hour speech offsets all of that, you smoking crack,” he said.

Oh boy, don’t even get Stephen started on Biden’s recent “fried chicken” stunt.

Washington Examiner:

ESPN commentator Stephen A. Smith was enraged by a clip of President Joe Biden sitting down to a fried chicken dinner with a black family.

Biden was seen in a video clip interviewing two teenage boys and their father over a meal. While the president and the father appeared to eat hamburgers, the boys had a plate of fried chicken in front of them. The president got to know the family personally and made more campaign promises about student loan forgiveness. Smith played the clip on the Stephen A. Smith Show and let out an angry roar in response.

“Why do I have a problem with this? First of all, we all know about racial tropes, do we not?” Smith said. “Number two, President Biden, and respectfully I got to ask you this question, what the hell are you doing eating fried chicken? You’re 81. What 81 you know is munching on fried chicken? You ain’t been in the greatest health in a lot of people’s eyes, you know, so eating some fried chicken ain’t the greatest look.”

Stephen A. is out with a brand new clip after he got some heat for his prior comments from black media outlets. Smith also talked about the ridiculous recent “bloodbath” brouhaha. Here’s what Smith had to say to the haters:

Whether you’re a fan of Stephen A. Smith or not, you’ve got to admit he’s hitting the nail on the head with his takes on Biden and the mainstream media. At a time when Biden’s approval and morale are scraping the bottom of the barrel, this kind of straight-shooting could really shake things up and change some people’s minds.
