The Lord certainly moves in mysterious ways, and while some might entertain the thought that a divine hand is attempting to thwart the Biden administration, it’s clear that the real consequences of Joe’s aggressive left-wing “green” policies stand on their own in terms of potential harm. In an ironic twist of fate, a massive setback for these policies occurred in Texas.

A solar panel farm there faced the wrath of an unexpected and severe hail storm, which decimated the installation, effectively putting a dent in Biden’s green ambitions. But the fallout goes beyond the physical destruction. The real alarm bells are ringing over the fact that these panels contain harmful chemicals. Now, with the panels broken apart, there’s a genuine concern about these toxic substances leaking into the water supply, posing significant health and environmental risks. This incident is a stark reminder of the unintended consequences that can arise from well-intentioned policies.

Will Tanner:

In yet another massive L for ‘green’ energy boondoggles, a massive swathe of solar panels in Damon, Texas were taken out by a hail storm

And not only were the expensive panels rendered useless by the weather, but now they’re leaking a toxic compound, cadmium telluride, into the water

So not only do Texans get intermittent energy instead of constant energy, not only do they waste thousands of acres of land with solar farms, but now the pointless panels are leaking into the groundwater

Nuclear energy and natural gas are the answer. They’re cheap, clean, reliable, and won’t be shattered by a bit of hail. The other “green” energy is an expensive boondoggle that destroys the natural environment

Here’s more on the wild hailstorm that took out the pricey solar farm.

Daily Caller:

A severe Texan hail storm damaged thousands of solar panels at a Fort Bend County farm causing neighbors to fear potential chemical leakage from the panels, ABC 13 reported.

The freak and severe hail storm hit the farm and its environs on March 16, causing massive property damage throughout the affected area, the outlet reported.

“The hailstorm we experienced Saturday morning was unimaginable,” Nick Kaminski, a Ford Bend County resident, told the outlet. “We’ve never seen anything like it in our lifetime.” Kaminski’s own house suffered damage from the wind, causing the roof to come off, which was followed by hail, ABC 13 reported.

Kaminski also expressed concern over the damage to a nearby solar farm to the outlet. “They look like somebody took a shotgun and blasted it into the air and let the pellets fall down and shatter holes all in them,” Kaminski said about the condition of the farm and its solar panels, ABC 13 reported.

But the plot thickens. These solar panels? They’re packed with chemicals that could be harmful to humans. And now, there’s a real worry that this toxic brew might be trickling into our water system. The Daily Caller piece goes on:

Kaminski shared with ABC 13 that he was worried some of the chemicals in the solar panel might seep into the ground and the water, causing health problems. “That’s what we take a shower with, we drink with,” he told ABC 13. “It could be in our water now.”

The solar panels could be made of a chemical compound called cadmium telluride, a toxic substance that if in contact with a human could cause kidney, lung, gastrointestinal, heart and skin problems, according to the National Institute of Health (NIH)’s National Library of Medicine. The substance is listed as an “Irritant” and an “Environmental Hazard” by the NIH.

However, it’s not just demolished solar panels that are destroying Joe’s dream of a swampy-green America. It’s his insane push for electric vehicles that has spectacularly backfired as well.

PBS:

[…] demand for EV’s appears to be slowing and may not be quite as intense as either automakers or the Biden administration had expected

Well, during an earnings call today, GM CEO Mary Barra said the pace of sales has slowed. And that follows recent announcements, as you well know, by GM and Ford, who said they’re going to cut back some of the production of new electric vehicles and delay some investments.

“Doomed to fail” is the battle cry from carmakers regarding Biden’s green agenda.

However, that won’t stop Joe. Like a determined little dictator, he’s set on forcing car manufacturers to churn out products the public doesn’t want.

The guy’s got great business savvy, right?

Actions like these are likely to cost Biden Michigan, just as Revolver recently predicted:

Joe Biden might say his Corvette goes “vroom,” but it looks like his campaign has completely stalled out, not just in the Motor City but across the whole state of Michigan. President Trump is now cruising ahead with a commanding lead in the “Mitten” state, and after Biden’s recent policy decision, it seems like his chances are hitting a dead end. The Biden regime has proposed new emission standards requiring that 70 percent of all vehicle sales by 2032 must be electric.

Meanwhile, Ford and other car makers are cutting back on failed EV programs.

NBC News:

Ford Motor is rethinking its electric vehicle strategies, including “reassessing” the need for in-house production of batteries, CEO Jim Farley said Tuesday.

The Detroit automaker previously confirmed plans to delay or cut $12 billion in spending on all-electric vehicles, but the comments made Tuesday are the most detailed about Ford’s changing plans for EVs, sales of which are growing at a slower-than-expected rate.

Biden’s green agenda is dead in the water, but it seems as if nobody’s bothered to tell him.

Motor City Bloodbath: Biden’s latest move just cost him Michigan once and for all…

Unfortunately, the ripple effects don’t stop there. A steel plant that provides jobs for hardworking Americans in Pennsylvania, Ohio, and West Virginia has also shut its doors. Experts are pointing fingers at Biden’s green policies as the culprit behind the closure.

Here’s what Virginia Congressman Alex Mooney had to say about this tragic death blow the middle class took, thanks to Joe’s failed green agenda:

Today’s closure is an absolute blow to our hardworking West Virginia steelworkers & the Weirton community. More than 10,000 people worked at Weirton Steel 30 years ago. Today, the last 900 workers just lost their jobs. Victims of President Biden & Democrats’ Green agenda.

When I toured Cleveland-Cliffs, we discussed the threat of unfair foreign competition and how it put the plant at risk. As a result of my meetings, I talked with the Department of Commerce and urged them to crack down on unfair foreign competition and save these jobs.

The Department of Commerce sided with us, but the globalist, Democrat led International Trade Commission sided with the cheap foreign competitors and as a result another American plant was closed.

And if you didn’t think all of that was bad enough, Biden’s plan to strengthen domestic “US-based” supply chains for his green energy agenda will further strengthen China.

The National Pulse:

The Biden government has encountered considerable problems in its effort to re-shore industrial supply chains. Despite trying to brand much of the President’s green energy agenda as a boon for U.S. industries, critics have pointed out that Biden government regulators — like the U.S. Treasury Department — have used their statutory discretion to waive restrictions on foreign-sourced manufacturing.

Billed as a ‘flagship’ facility as part of Biden’s green agenda, the QCells operation in Georgia has received a bevy of tax credits through the Inflation Reduction Act and Sen. Jon Ossoff’s (D-GA) Solar Energy Manufacturing for America Act. After Congress adopted his legislation, Sen. Ossoff cheered the passage: “Demand for solar energy is skyrocketing, and we need to be building and manufacturing this technology here in the United States, reduce our reliance on imports from China, and meet the moment.”

The promise to reduce reliance on Chinese manufacturing and technology has rung hollow with the QCells facility in Georgia. Likewise, the Biden government’s promise that tax credits meant to promote a domestic electric vehicle industry has largely benefitted battery and auto-part manufacturing in Canada and Mexico. After the U.S. Treasury Department under Secretary Janet Yellen used statutory discretion to continue redefining “Made in America,” some electric vehicle credits even subsidized manufacturing facilities in Southeast Asia.

The left’s “green agenda” is a never-ending source of disaster, danger, and destruction for America and its hardworking middle class. Yet, will that deter Democrats from pushing this “World Economic Forum-style” tyranny? Highly unlikely. They’re determined to press on, eroding the working class until everyone is coerced into driving a seventy-thousand-dollar electric car, like it or not. And amid all this green hell, a word of caution about the water you’re drinking—it might just be contaminated with “planet-saving” toxins, so be careful. So much for saving Mother Earth, right?
