The consolidated clips in this audio recording focus on the FBI’s coercive interrogation of their Confidential Human Source, Stephen Robeson, on December 10, 2020.

AUDIO of “Double Agent” Stephen Robeson interrogated by FBI Agents Henrik Impola & Jayson Chambers on December 10, 2020

These sequential audio clips from Robeson’s interrogation were edited for length and clarity and to remove references to certain individuals and data that were not publicly identified during the prosecutions of 14 men in state and federal court.

Department of Justice attorneys ultimately disavowed Robeson and claimed he was a “double agent” after revealing he committed multiple crimes while allegedly assisting others in a 2020 plot to kidnap Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer.

The full 5+ hour recording of Robeson’s interrogation was heavily referenced and quoted within an article published by The Intercept on March 6, 2024, which I coauthored with journalist Trevor Aaronson.
