It looks like yet another DEI advocate has fallen from grace, and this time it’s a high-flier from Johns Hopkins Medicine. Enter Dr. Sherita Golden, the former Chief Diversity Officer at the renowned medical institution. Earlier this year, she stirred the pot by sending out an email labeling certain groups as “privileged,” including:

White people, able-bodied people, heterosexuals, cisgender people, males, Christians, middle or owning class people, middle-aged people, and English-speaking people.

The backlash hit like a scene from “Fast and Furious,” and Dr. Golden was quick to do her best “Walk It Back” shuffle. But, as they say, it was way too little, too late. The mainstream media loves to say conservatives “POUNCED,” and we actually did this time, and it didn’t take long before the good doctor was updating her resume.

Another scalp was taken.

Huge shoutouts are in order for the influential X account “End Wokeness” for leading the charge against some pretty dangerous DEI policies, like Dr. Golden’s off-the-rails racist rant. Take a look:

End Wokeness claims 4 scalps in 1 day:

1. Doritos fired a new brand ambassador after we shed light on pedophiIia tweets

2. Biden’s VA rescinded their ban on the V-J kiss after it leaked to End Wokeness

3. Vice President of Johns Hopkins and DEI Chief resigns over her “privilege hit list” 1st leaked on End Wokeness

4. CIO of USAGM is suspended over anti-White tweets uncovered on a burner account by End Wokeness

Conservatives, from every nook and cranny of the nation and online, are joining forces to stand up to this DEI madness. And guess what? Our hard work is starting to make a real difference. Sherita Golden’s story is a perfect example of that.

Campus Reform:

The Chief Diversity Officer at Johns Hopkins Medicine resigned on Tuesday after criticism stemming from her distribution of a list of groups she believes have “privilege.”

As Campus Reform reported, Dr. Sherita Golden sent the list of groups in a January email sent to staff members, which defined  “privilege” as “a set of unearned benefits given to people who are in a specific social group.”

Golden went on to name nine groups in the country that have been “granted” privilege “at the expense of members of other groups.”

According to Golden, these “privileged” groups are: “White people,” “Able-bodied people,” “Heterosexuals,” “Cisgender people,” “Males,” “Christians,” “Middle or owning class people,” “Middle-aged people,” and “English-speaking people.”

“Privilege is characteristically invisible to people who have it. People in dominant groups often believe they have earned the privileges they enjoy or that everyone could have access to these privileges if only they worked to earn them. In fact, privileges are unearned and are granted to people in the dominant groups whether they want those privileges or not, and regardless of their stated intent,” she claimed.

According to the Baltimore Banner, Golden resigned from her position on Tuesday.

Administrators wrote in an email to staff members that Golden “has been a valuable member of the Johns Hopkins Medicine leadership team, and, like many of you, we wanted her to stay in her role, but we respect her decision.”

According to the outlet, Golden will continue to be employed as the Hugh P. McCormick Family Professor of Endocrinology and Metabolism.

The “privilege” list was retracted shortly after it was sent out, and Golden said she “deeply” regretted her definition of privilege, adding it “did not meet [the] goal” to “inform and support an inclusive community at Hopkins. . . . In fact, because it was overly simplistic and poorly worded, it had the opposite effect of being exclusionary and hurtful to members of our community.”

“I retract and disavow the definition I shared, and I am sorry. I will work to ensure that future messages better reflect our organizational values,” Golden added.

Kamala Harris, perhaps the most talked-about DEI hire ever, sees the writing on the wall and is seriously spooked by the clout conservatives have in pushing back against these wild, out-there social agendas peddled by far-out, out-of-touch Dems.

The reality hits hard: these DEI policies are wreaking havoc on every institution they infiltrate. It’s all about promoting “charity” over excellence, but here’s the thing: no nation can truly thrive and progress if its growth is rooted in false charity instead of striving for excellence.

The silver lining here is that plenty of colleges and businesses are starting to backpedal on DEI. Not necessarily because they’ve had an epiphany about its impact on success and excellence, but because they’re spooked by the prospect of legal action for discriminating against white and Asian individuals.

The Washington Post:

In recent weeks, Zoom axed its internal DEI team amid broader layoffs, and Snap cut workers who worked on retention and engagement efforts for employees from underrepresented groups. Meta, Tesla, DoorDash, Lyft, Home Depot, Wayfair and X were among major corporations making steep cuts in 2023, slashing the size of their DEI teams by 50 percent or more, Revelio’s data shows.

“The overall number of DEI officers has decreased,” said Lisa Simon, Revelio’s senior economist, “but it’s not enough to destroy all the strides that happened after 2020.”

Here’s the bottom line: Dem policies are in place to bulk up the government’s presence and power. They champion DEI and other similar movements under the guise of supporting blacks and minorities, but in reality, it’s all about tightening the government’s chokehold on free enterprise.
