If you’ve been following Joe Rogan, you might recall his exploration of atheist perspectives and ideologies, aligning with his past as a left-leaning “Bernie Bro.” Yet, as the left has shifted towards more extreme views, it’s prompted a shift in many, including Rogan, who once identified with progressive values. They’re now seeking solace in spirituality and turning towards faith in Jesus amidst the turmoil. Joe Rogan’s journey from championing atheist beliefs to embracing spirituality in the midst of all this global chaos is a testament to both his search for deeper meaning and the level of truly frightening extremism on the left.

It can scare people straight.

Paul Anleitner:

Joe Rogan, once a vocal evangelist of New Atheist talking points on religion, now yearns for the “just and righteous” Kingdom of God and believes the world “needs Jesus…for real.”

That’s quite a change, but his journey is emblematic of a wider shift in attitudes towards religion.

Joe Rogan might not be on the verge of a “born-again” experience or heading to church every Sunday, but his newfound acknowledgment of Jesus and the role of spirituality is nothing short of remarkable. This pivot is especially noteworthy amidst the current climate where Christianity finds itself in the crosshairs, particularly from the Democrat Party. These days, it’s not just subtle digs but open hatred against the Christian faith. Take, for example, left-wing commentator James Carville, who stated that Speaker Mike Johnson’s “faith” is a greater threat than terrorists. That statement in and of itself is inane, but it’s also a stark reminder of the divisive and challenging times for spirituality and politics in America.

The Blaze:

House Speaker Mike Johnson refuses to sit idly and let Democrats attack Christians with bad-faith attacks.

On Friday, Democratic strategist James Carville was speaking with Bill Maher when he offered his perspective on Christians like Johnson: They’re “a bigger threat” than al-Qaeda.

“Mike Johnson and what he believes is one of the greatest threats we have today to the United States,” Carville claimed. “This is a bigger threat than al-Qaeda to this country.”

But the Christian bashing doesn’t end there. A Politico reporter jumped into the fray, claiming Christian Nationalists, who believe in God over the US government, are dangerous. When did the left become such government-worshiping bootlickers?

Like it or not, this country has its roots deeply embedded in Christianity, which continues to be the dominant faith across the US. Yet, Christianity is at odds with the secular globalist agenda, so it has naturally become a target for godless heretics on the left, who quickly dismiss religious values. However, this pushback comes from the elites, not the everyday folks who are yearning for spiritual connection and the comfort that Christianity and Jesus offer. In an era marked by insane social norms, like 167 genders, men “giving birth,” and criminals becoming civil rights heroes, the entire script has flipped to the extent that we are now navigating through a society that has lost its moral compass. Everyone is lost. So, it’s hardly surprising that people like Joe Rogan are seeking refuge in faith. In the middle of confusing and scary modern times, turning to Jesus can offer someone a beacon of hope and clarity.
