Peeling back the layers of the Obama era is like opening Pandora’s box and finding out it’s deeper than we thought. Obama might have slithered out of the White House without a flashy “legacy” tag, but he sure did leave a mess. It’s as if he was the Dems and Deep State’s MVP, playing a long game we’re still trying to wrap our heads around. He wasn’t just about making policy changes; he was on a mission to infiltrate every corner of our sacred institutions and flip them inside out for his—and their—advantage. Just look what he did by weaponizing the intel community, churches, health care, and so much more. But if you think Obama had nothing to do with the wild turn our media took, guess again. Obama had a hand in turning our media into a progressive propaganda machine.

How did he do it? Well, back in 2013, he made a move to ditch the Smith-Mundt Act, basically rolling out the red carpet for propaganda in our national media. This wasn’t just a small change; it was a game changer for how stories are told and sold to us to this day.

When Tucker Carlson and Vladimir Putin got together for that viral interview, they actually discussed how US propaganda got so incredibly strong.

TUCKER ASKS PUTIN: “If you had evidence … that NATO, the US, CIA, the West, did this [Nord Stream], why wouldn’t you present it and win a propaganda victory?”

PUTIN: “In the war of propaganda, it is very difficult to defeat the United States because the United States controls all the world’s media and many European media. The ultimate beneficiary of the biggest European media is American financial institutions. Don’t you know that? It is possible to get involved in this work, but it is cost-prohibitive, so to speak. We can simply shine the spotlight on our sources of information, and we will not achieve results.”

Dems have perfected the art of propaganda, so much so that their propaganda machine operates under the guise of being the arbiters of truth, with their “disinformation campaigns” and “saving democracy” pledges and whatnot, and we have Obama to thank for that.

What’s really interesting is how the AP tried to “fact-check” this claim about Obama “creating propaganda” in broadcasting and debunk it; instead, they ended up confirming it.

AP:

CLAIM: Former President Barack Obama signed a law in 2012 allowing government propaganda in the U.S., and making it “perfectly legal for the media to purposely lie to the American people.”

AP’S ASSESSMENT: False. In 2013, Obama signed legislation that changed the U.S. Information and Educational Exchange Act of 1948, also known as the Smith-Mundt Act. The amendment made it possible for some materials created by the U.S. Agency for Global Media, the nation’s foreign broadcasting agency, to be disseminated in the U.S.

THE FACTS: A post circulating on Facebook with a photo of Obama falsely states he repealed a ban on government propaganda in the U.S. when he signed the National Defense Authorization Act in 2013. The amendment did not repeal the Smith-Mundt Act, but rather lifted some restrictions on the domestic dissemination of government-funded media.

The change essentially eased restrictions for Americans who want to access government-funded media content, allowing media produced by the U.S. Agency for Global Media, such as the Voice of America and Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty, to be made available to Americans “upon request.”

The “upon request” tagged at the end of that “fact check” is pure comedy gold. As if the media and government ever wait around to be asked before they start pushing propaganda down our collective gullets. The root of most of the turmoil we’re facing today can be traced back to one Marxist man, who, despite leaving office with a paper-thin record of achievements, had a long-lasting impact. Back then, we didn’t see the full picture, but it’s clear now: Obama’s legacy isn’t about what he built; it’s about the chaos he left behind. And to this day, the Dems and Deep State are still running the show and using his playbook.
