To be honest, I’m surprised this place wasn’t heavily guarded.

Many questions linger over this unholy island.  What will become of it? Should it be blown up? Wiped off the map?

Should it be turned into a solemn memorial to remind the future of the type of evil that can occur when we’re not paying attention?

Perhaps it was inspired by Hammam Yalbugha, in Syria.

Wikipedia says this about it:

Hammam Yalbugha is a Mamluk-era public bath (“hammam”) in Aleppo, Syria. It was built in 1491 by the Emir of Aleppo Saif ad-Din Yalbugha al-Naseri. It is located next to the entrance of the Citadel of Aleppo, on the banks of the Quweiq river.

And in case you didn’t have enough reasons to hate the mainstream media, here’s one more for you. What kind of headline is this in light of all that we know? That’s the best she can come up with? Well, some of us aren’t surprised at all.
