When you tune into the news, chat with neighbors, or even overhear conversations in a diner, it’s impossible to ignore the constant buzz about the laundry list of disasters unfolding across the US. It feels like every time you turn around, there’s another train derailment, a plane incident, or a military crisis. It’s one calamity after another. One individual who’s keenly aware of what’s going on is Elon Musk. He’s taken such a strong interest in these so-called random “calamities” that he recently shared a thought-provoking article on the topic that’s sure to stir up quite a bit of controversy.

At first glance, all these disasters might look like just a run of bad luck. But take a closer look, and you’ll start seeing a pattern. It’s looking more and more like they’re connected, maybe even a result of the “Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion” (DEI) movement that’s been all the rage lately but is actually choking the life out of this nation.

Meanwhile, as we emphasize “charity,” China is busy cultivating a society filled with highly skilled individuals.

Essentially, the left would have you believe that selecting someone for a job or leadership position should be based on their sexual orientation, skin color, or fluid gender rather than their skills or expertise. This twisted approach is touted as a way to give minorities an advantage in a world dominated by white men. However, the stark reality is that this way of thinking is dangerous and leads to appointing inept individuals to positions they are ill-equipped to handle, and the consequences are becoming increasingly obvious. The Biden regime is a living, breathing example of its own DEI failure:

The article Elon shared is quite an eye-opener. It’s about time this topic steps out from the shadows and into the spotlight, where we can have a real talk about it and expose DEI for what it is: racism against white people laced with potential danger and extreme failure.

Elon is deeply passionate about this issue, and he’s been vocal about it for quite a while now and hasn’t held back in the slightest.

Below is a powerful excerpt from the article Elon shared:

Palladium:

Americans living today are the inheritors of systems that created the highest standard of living in human history. Rather than protecting the competency that made those systems possible, the modern preference for diversity has attenuated meritocratic evaluation at all levels of American society. Given the damage already done to competence and morale combined with the natural exodus of baby boomers with decades worth of tacit knowledge, the biggest challenge of the coming decades might simply be maintaining the systems we have today.

We highly recommend reading the full article from Palladium to get the complete picture. It’s well worth your time. You can read it here.

Elon isn’t the only one sounding the alarm about DEI and Critical Race Theory, two beasts that carry the same burden. Revolver has been digging deep into this issue, focusing on how these ideologies have contributed to the downfall of South Africa. Once a prosperous and safe nation, it’s now a third-world hellhole, thanks to the impact of Critical Race Theory.

Revolver:

The meltdown in South Africa isn’t a natural disaster or a random fluke. It’s a choice. South Africa was the first modern nation to be refounded on the anti-white principles of Critical Race Theory, and now it is reaping the whirlwind of that choice.

South Africa did everything that is being done in America right now. As a hyperdiverse multiethnic, multilingual society, South Africa has followed almost every prescription embraced by the globalist ruling class.

This is about more than riots. This wave of violence will eventually peter out. But there is no reason to be optimistic when that happens. There will be no sense of having survived a calamity, and having a chance to rebuild. When this wave of burning and looting and killing are over, there is nothing to look forward to but the next wave.

The specter of doom hangs over South Africa. The optimism that peaked when the country hosted the 2010 World Cup is now gone. Despite being warned for years about failing water infrastructure, local governments ignored the problem and now the country has routine, severe water crises. South Africa began experiencing rolling blackouts in 2007, and has battled them ever since. Even the government says the blackouts will likely continue for at least five more years. Hint: Bet your money that they last even longer.

In addition, Revolver also delved into the disturbing and dangerous world of “equity aviation,” where every passenger is at risk, thanks to inept diversity hires.

Revolver:

According to the FAA, a Near Midair Collision (NMAC) occurs when two aircraft are within 500 feet of one another. Commercial flights travel up to 575 mph. In the most extreme case, if two planes with 500 feet in between are flying in opposite directions, they will come into contact within 0.29 seconds—the same amount of time as a blink of an eye. Most near misses do not happen midair but closer to the ground when planes takeoff and land. These are less terrifying in the imagination than midair collisions, but just as fatal to the passengers when they occur. Close calls of this variety are called Runway Incursions, which occur when two planes are too close to each other, or when one plane is landing on the same strip where another plane is taking off, or when someone or something is on the tarmac, which is considered an interference. As mentioned above, from 2002 to 2022, Runway Incursions increased from 987 to 1732 in spite of advanced technologies becoming more available.

The close call metric for midair events is known as a Loss of Separation, which, set by the International Civil Aviation Organization, is defined as a loss of the minimum horizontal and/or vertical distance between two planes in flight. An aircraft is meant to have at least 15 minutes or 3 nautical miles between itself and a plane ahead or behind; there must be a 1,000-foot gap between an aircraft and another above or below. Of course, different flight paths and angles change the calculation, and bad weather such as turbulence should increase the minimum.

Interestingly, the Loss of Separation metric is frequently used to dismiss any media attention to “close calls” as pure fear mongering. A particular interpretation of Loss of Separation events is in fact one of the four common ways the FAA, federal PR spokespeople, and other mendacious actors shrug off the concern that air travel is becoming more dangerous.

Our aviation industry is undergoing a disastrous renaissance, plagued by the hiring of workers who are clearly unqualified for the positions they’ve been gifted, thanks to the color of their skin or the type of people they date.

The DEI alarms raised by both Elon and Revolver are far from exaggerated. Our country is teetering on the edge of something dire, and it’s crucial we shift back to valuing excellence over charity. If not, people will die, and our country won’t last much longer.
