POV: you hike to a waterfall in New York that’s supposed to have a literal eternal flame… and it’s out. No worries, we brought a lighter. You’re welcome, geology. Eternal Flame Falls is this hidden little spot near Buffalo where natural gas seeps out of the rock and once lit, keeps a flame going inside a waterfall. It’s muddy, weird, and 100% worth the hike. 10/10 would hike again (and if you go, bring a lighter just in case).

Every year I catch them in this tree and on all the lakes I fish year after year I find the fish in very similar spots! Much easier getting to these spots by cruising around on my Livewatersports paddleboard powered by my ePropulsion electric outboard “Spirit 1.0 Plus” motor. Not only does it move me around all day with plenty of power but it is basically silent compared to a gas powered outboard. The motor is hooked up to my board on my @SUP Customs motor mount. When you’re fishing in the creek you have to fight through all the smaller fish to finally get the big ones…obviously not a bad problem to have when the “smaller ones” are all 2-3lbers!
