Today, Ron DeSantis ended his campaign for president, and despite all the ups and downs, Florida’s best governor went out with his head held high.

Many would agree that Ron DeSantis got some rather questionable advice and found himself struggling with really bad timing. Despite his impressive tenure as Florida’s popular governor, DeSantis never stood a real chance against President Trump. There’s a laundry list of campaign missteps, starting with that Twitter Spaces announcement.

Still, even if everything had gone perfectly, DeSantis would have struggled to outshine Trump, who remains the undisputed leader of the nation’s largest and most influential political movement. However, all of that theory and speculation has finally come to an end, as DeSantis has pulled the plug on his struggling campaign. The signs were there, especially when DeSantis abruptly canceled two big national interviews on the Sunday talk shows.

Later, Bloomberg reported that DeSantis was making his exit to avoid a third-place finish in New Hampshire and South Carolina. However, in the end, Ron DeSantis made a commendable choice.

He exited on a positive note by endorsing President Trump and his America First movement while criticizing Nikki Haley for her warmongering globalist stance. Credit is due to him for making the right call when it truly counted.

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis suspended his presidential campaign on Sunday, posting a video on X saying he could not ask his campaign staffers to give their time “without a clear path to victory.”

“It’s clear to me that a majority of Republican primary want to give Donald Trump another chance,” DeSantis said.

He added that he had signed a pledge to support the eventual nominee.

After placing a distant second in Iowa, losing to former President Donald Trump by 30 points, DeSantis has failed to articulate his path to the nomination and what states he would be able to win against Trump, dropping out of the race two days before the New Hampshire primary.

He had invested large amounts of time and money in trying to win Iowa, as he and his super PAC bet that an aggressive approach of retail politics and building a ground game operation would result in an upset or a closer race. DeSantis finished 30 points behind Trump last week in the Iowa caucuses.

DeSantis now joins Vivek Ramaswamy in endorsing Trump and slamming Nikki Haley, who is the GOP establishment darling and the Uniparty’s top choice.

All patriotic, freedom-loving, and peace-minded conservatives should firmly stand with the #NeverNikki movement.

Regarding Governor DeSantis, it’s great to see him get back to what he does best: governing the great (and free) state of Florida and backing Trump’s journey back to the White House.
