Ilhan Omar needs to be removed from Congress by the scruff of her anti-American neck after her antics in her homeland of Somalia. Omar made a trip to her motherland and delivered what sounded like a Trump-esque “Make Somalia Great Again speech. If the online translation holds true, she declared Somalia her top priority, despite being elected to serve Minnesota’s District 5. She even went so far as to suggest that the US government should be forced to protect Somalia’s interests. Well, if you elect a radical anti-American foreigner, this is what you get.
It’s also no shock that the mainstream media is utterly clueless about why conservatives are fuming. To them, it’s perfectly fine to bash anyone championing America, while they glorify those who put foreign hellholes first. That’s the elitist mindset. They’re so wildly out of touch. After all, why would they care who our government backs? They’re not the ones hunting for jobs or affordable housing, dealing with skyrocketing crime, drug-ravaged neighborhoods, or worrying about where their next meal is coming from.
Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) was harshly criticized by conservatives on social media Sunday after a video was shared showing her speaking about her support for Somalia, the nation from which she hails.
In the video, the liberal Minnesota leader was addressing a crowd in a Minneapolis hotel when she spoke about Somaliland and the unrecognized state’s deal with Ethiopia, which Somalia alleges infringes on its territory.
The video shared to X contains an English translation, which has not been verified by the Washington Examiner (however, Omar’s response to the controversy lends credence to the translation being at least largely accurate). The translation includes Omar stating she’s in Congress to represent Somali Americans’ interests and that the “U.S. will do what we want and nothing else.”
While it appears Omar was speaking to a largely Somali American crowd and showing support for her constituents and their motherland, many prominent users on X (formerly Twitter) took issue with the video.
Rep. Marjorie Taylor-Greene (R-GA), often a critic of Omar, wrote that the Democratic “Squad” member “flaunts using her position as congresswoman to protect Somalia’s border while our border is invaded by MILLIONS of illegals who are a danger to America,” stressing the need for citizens to vote in November.
We’re inviting our demise by letting people like her into our country, and what’s more, by giving them a prominent seat in our government. What the hell are we thinking?

While what Omar did and said could be considered treasonous, don’t forget that this is the same woman who can look you dead in the eye and claim, without batting an eyelid, that US politicians who put “America First” are a danger to democracy. Remember her now-deleted tweet about the Covington Catholic boys? The left attempted to tear these innocent kids apart online and in the media. Her tweet was a string of lies aimed at a group of all-American white kids, simply for supporting President Trump.
A Muslim congresswoman deleted a tweet that criticized the Catholic high school students involved in last week’s controversial confrontation with a Native American elder outside the Lincoln Memorial.
US Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.) on Tuesday night responded to a tweet from President Trump in which he defended 11th-grader Nick Sandmann and other students from Kentucky’s Covington Catholic High School.
Omar wrote, “-The boys were protesting a woman’s right to choose & yelled “it’s not rape if you enjoy it” -They were taunting 5 Black men before they surrounded Phillips and led racist chants -Sandmann’s family hired a right wing PR firm to write his non-apology.”
Before Omar’s tweet was deleted, a lawyer who’s offered to represent the Covington students for free said it had defamed them.
“This is libel. Retract, or get sued,” Las Vegas attorney Robert Barnes tweeted.
Also, this is the same woman who infamously downplays the 9/11 attacks, which claimed thousands of American lives, suggesting instead that Muslims, who unleashed the attack, are the true victims.
During a March speech at a Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) event, Omar highlighted how many American Muslims saw their civil liberties curtailed in the aftermath of the 9/11 attacks.
“Here’s the truth,” Omar said. “For far too long we have lived with the discomfort of being a second-class citizen and, frankly, I’m tired of it, and every single Muslim in this country should be tired of it. CAIR was founded after 9/11 because they recognized that some people did something and that all of us were starting to lose access to our civil liberties.”
“So you can’t just say that today someone is looking at me strange and that I am trying to make myself look pleasant,” she added. “You have to say that this person is looking at me strange, I am not comfortable with it, and I am going to talk to them and ask them why. Because that is the right you have.”
If you’re still in the dark about what the left and Uniparty loyalists are doing to our country—systematically tearing it apart from the inside—then you’re missing the big picture. It’s all out in the open now; they’re no longer pretending. Wake up, or there won’t be a country left to save.
