What’s going on with John Fetterman? He’s flipped the script from sounding as bewildered as Joe Biden to making sharp, coherent points, even venturing into some conservative topics. Remember, Fetterman suffered a severe stroke, which took a toll on his speech and cognitive abilities. At times, it was hard to watch him struggle, and you wondered why on earth the people of Pennsylvania sent him to the Senate.
Biden sounds totally normal when he gets to speak after Fetterman.

However, the dramatic improvement in his communication and mental clarity is turning heads. He’s even dumped the “progressive” label and is now calling himself a “regular Democrat.” Whatever that means…
Pennsylvania Senator John Fetterman has been embraced by conservatives after stripping away his self-proclaimed title of a “progressive” Democrat.
In a recent NBC News interview, Fetterman said “I’m not a progressive,” despite identifying with the far-left group in the past. In 2016, after losing his first Senate race, Fetterman wrote on Twitter, now X: “We have started a progressive movement here in Pennsylvania.”
The senator who used to introduce himself at political events as “a Democrat and a progressive,” posted on X this week: “I’m not a progressive, I’m just a regular Democrat.”
This shift has ignited lots of new theories, with the most outlandish being that Fetterman has been replaced by a “body double.” It’s a theory that’s gained traction online, fueled by amusing memes rather than concrete evidence. Intriguing, to say the least, but let’s hold off on that one for now.
A self-proclaimed investigative journalist who once interned at the New York Times shared a curious little tidbit on X. She goes by the name “Misha” and is stirring the pot with claims that Fetterman and his wife, Giselle, have called it quits. Here’s the scoop, according to Misha’s online posts:
🚨 BREAKING: Senator John Fetterman's wife Gisele deletes all pictures with him on social media.

Supposedly, Gisele deleted her Instagram as well.
UPDATE: Gisele deletes her Instagram, close friends confirm this is due to John’s incessant support for for the war. https://t.co/wW8vEFr8wu

Gisele has responded, pushing back on the online claims.
BREAKING: Gisele mysteriously reappears mere hours after initial reporting.
Relationship experts suggest it is quite possible John Fetterman is forcing her to keep up with appearances to prevent further controversy. pic.twitter.com/Ped4D0uEzC

It’s pretty weird that she reactivated her social media right after this report dropped, right?
Revolver can’t confirm the rumors swirling about a “breakup” in the marriage, but the online antics are raising eyebrows. It’s all weird enough that it caught the eye of conservative pundit Charlie Kirk, who’s gone ahead and pieced together his own theory on Fetterman’s new “persona” and the rumored marital rift.
It simply cannot be a coincidence that John Fetterman started making sense at almost the exact moment he and his wife Giselle Fetterman apparently broke up.
The question is…which came first? https://t.co/1sbeVwe2Jk

Gisele Fetterman was previously labeled as another power-hungry wife, similar to Jill Biden and Hillary Clinton. She’s pushed back on those claims, saying that all she’s ever wanted was to quietly serve the people.
The wife of Pennsylvania Democratic Senator John Fetterman, Gisele Barreto Fetterman, has slammed “the tired trope of the ‘power hungry’ woman” in an op-ed for Elle.
“As soon as John’s political profile began to grow, I started receiving hate mail — ten times more than John ever got himself,” she wrote in the piece published on Thursday.
“I hadn’t sought an office of any kind, and I had never wanted to be in the public eye; in fact, that’s the last thing I’d want,” she added.
“I’ve always preferred serving others as a private citizen and have no interest in the politicking of policy,” she wrote.
Is Charlie Kirk onto something here? Could Fetterman’s communication struggles have been influenced by his wife, or maybe a change in medication? The possibilities are endless. However, one thing seems clear: this sudden shift seems politically motivated above all. If you were to ask us to place bets, we’d wager that Fetterman is eyeing a White House bid in 2028, and he’s starting to lay the groundwork with his “I’m just a regular guy” narrative. How his wife fits into this picture or doesn’t is still up in the air.
