In the Republican Party, we have our very own “Dr. Evil,” and he goes by the name of Paul Ryan. A buffoonish “villain” who thinks he’s a lot more powerful than he actually is. However, if you believe the rumors that Paul Ryan played a role in the “Grab ’em by the pu**y” scandal, then it’s easy to see him as a traitor who’s been desperately trying to undermine President Trump since the 2016 GOP primary.

Paul Ryan, a notable RINO, came out early and threw his support behind Ron DeSantis, boldly predicting that President Trump would not be the nominee.

CNBC:

Former President Donald Trump will not be the Republican Party’s White House nominee in the 2024 election, former GOP House Speaker Paul Ryan predicted.

“Trump’s unelectability will be palpable by then,” Ryan said in an interview with consulting firm Teneo that aired Thursday. Ryan is vice chairman of the firm.

“We all know that he’s much more likely to lose the White House than anybody else running for president on our side of the aisle, so why would we want to go with that?” the former lawmaker from Wisconsin said.

“Whether he runs or not, I don’t really know if it matters,” Ryan added. “He’s not going to be the nominee, I don’t think.”

Meanwhile, Trump is leading Biden in every swing state poll, and he will be the GOP nominee. As usual, Paul “Dr. Evil” Ryan is out-of-touch and irrelevant when it comes to today’s politics. Continuing with the “Dr. Evil” theme, Paul Ryan displayed his infamous persona on a recent podcast. He praised RINO figures like Liz Cheney and Adam Kinzinger, who are no longer in Congress because voters loathe them. Ryan also claimed President Trump is not a “conservative,” but a “populist authoritarian narcissist.”

OK! Magazine:

Former Republican House Speaker Paul Ryan spoke out against former President Donald Trump, calling him “not a conservative” but “a populist, authoritarian narcissist.”

In a podcast interview with Kevin Kajiwara, Ryan also commended Republicans Liz Cheney and Adam Kinzinger for standing up to Trump, even at the cost of their congressional careers.

Ryan’s comments, recorded in November but recently gaining attention, have sparked criticism from both sides of the political aisle.

Ryan, who hails from Wisconsin and served as House Speaker from 2015 to 2019, is currently a board member of Fox Corp, the parent company of Fox News. When asked about the historical judgment of Cheney and Kinzinger, Ryan stated, “Trump’s not a conservative. He’s an authoritarian narcissist. So I think they basically called him out for that.”

“He’s a populist, authoritarian narcissist. … All of his tendencies are basically where narcissism takes him, which is whatever makes him popular, makes him feel good at any given moment,” the former House Speaker proclaimed. “He doesn’t think in classical liberal-conservative terms. He thinks in an authoritarian way. And he’s been able to get a big chunk of the Republican base to follow him because he’s the culture warrior.”

Paul, you’ve missed the mark once more. Americans appreciate President Trump because he’s an outsider, an advocate for the forgotten American, and he’s got an impressive track record of success. It seems like butt-hurt Paul is reading the writing on the wall. Like many in the #NeverTrump camp, Paul’s starting to panic and lash out because he knows Trump is about to clinch victory yet again.
