There is nothing more satisfying than watching the fake news outlets get their just desserts. Who could forget when the entire fake news cabal was taken down by a young student from Covington Catholic School after they baselessly attacked and smeared him, all in the name of promoting a false progressive narrative that portrayed MAGA as “evil.” Well, it seems like a similar scenario is unfolding for another dubious publication called Deadspin. They also viciously and unfairly targeted a young kid with yet another hoax news story, this time falsely accusing a Chiefs fan of racism for wearing blackface. The issue with their story was that it was entirely fake and relied on cleverly edited pictures to peddle this phony “blackface” narrative.

Now, the parents of that young boy are gearing up to take on Deadspin for slandering their innocent child. Here’s what Trending Politics co-founder Colin Rugg reported on X:

BREAKING: The parents of 9-year old Holden Armenta are threatening to sue Deadspin for slandering their son by saying he wore “Black face.”

Do it! 🔥

Shannon and Raul Armenta have hired Clare Locke LLP, demanding that they issue a retraction of the viral story.

It gets better: The family specifically wants to pursue legal action against far-left reporter Carron Phillips for writing the story.

Phillips accused Holden of being racist against black people and Native Americans by wearing a headdress as well as red and black face paint at a Chief’s game.

“These articles, posts on X and photos about Holden and his parents must be retracted immediately,” the letter from the family read.

“It is not enough to quietly remove a tweet from X or disable the article from Deadspin’s website. You must publish your retractions and issue an apology to my clients with the same prominence and fanfare with which you defamed them.”

The fake news article on Deadspin was written by a hack named Carron (not to be confused with “Carrion”) J. Phillips, who is feverishly blocking anyone holding him accountable for his false, shoddy reporting and unfounded attacks on an innocent young child.

We wish these parents Godspeed and hope they receive a substantial settlement that puts Deadspin and its subpar ‘”reporting” out of business.
