Is Jenna Ellis not the epitome of a terrible lawyer? Here’s a woman who passionately pledged to combat election fraud in 2020. Yet, when the chips are down and the Deep State comes calling, she folds like a cheap suit. Jenna broke down in court, openly admitting she sucks at lawyering, and then quickly shifted blame onto everyone else for her own missteps. Honestly, you’d have better luck with a chimpanzee as legal representation—at least then you’d have a fighting chance.

Adding to the saga, after raking in $200 thousand online and promising to challenge the indictment, Jenna Ellis, a so-called “co-conspirator” in Georgia’s controversial RICO/election interference case, swiftly pocketed the money and promptly accepted a plea deal.

One criminal defense attorney chimed in on that very topic:

Criminal defense attorney here. 16 years experience. If you are charged in a state-level felony case on August 14, 2023 and plea out on October 24, 2023, you did not incur $216,000 in legal expenses. I can assure you of that. I promoted the GoFundMe because I thought Jenna Ellis was getting railroaded. Which I believe she was. But I’m willing to guess there’s about $185,000 of unused funds that should be returned to the donors.

Here’s more on the story.

National Pulse:

Jenna Ellis, a DeSantis-backing lawyer who was indicted as a part of Fulton County, Georgia District Attorney Fani Willis’s RICO case against former President Donald Trump, has pleaded out to a single felony charge that she made false statements to Georgia legislators regarding election fraud during the aftermath of the 2020 election.

As a part of the plea deal Ellis will receive five years probation, pay $5,000 in restitution, participate in 100 hours of community service, and will co-operate with prosecutors. Additionally, Ellis is barred from speaking with the media and co-defendants as part of the plea deal.

Ellis, in a tearful statement read before the court, insisted that when she took the Trump cases she had no idea what she was doing, and claims she was lied to by more senior lawyers who she did not name. Ellis also raised over $216,000 from the public, claiming she was going to “fight back and stand for the truth!” Instead, she took a plea deal.

National Pulse editor Raheem Kassam said it best about Jenna’s blubbering in court: pathetic.

Jenna, an adult woman seemingly more enamored with Disneyland than upholding legal standards, openly admitted she’s a subpar lawyer.

Jenna’s tearful outburst in court resembles the “hostage-like” statements the Deep State relishes from cowards like her. They use those remarks as propaganda to bolster their dubious narrative that 2020 was “free and fair.”

Jenna Ellis is now tearing up after pleading guilty, arguing she relied on lawyers with “much more experience” than her. “If I knew then what I know now, I would have declined to represent Trump in these post-election challenges. I look back on this experience with deep remorse.”

Surely, President Trump wishes he never hired this Mickey Mouse attorney.

The Guardian:

In a hearing Tuesday morning, Ellis tearfully admitted that she was wrong and misled and that she no longer believes those false claims.

“If I knew then what I know now, I would have declined to represent Donald Trump in these post-election challenges,” Ellis said.

Ellis was later admonished by a Colorado judge for the false statements she made about the 2020 election. As part of that proceeding, Ellis admitted that several statements she said back then were false — stating that she acted “with “a reckless state of mind” and telling the court she had acted with “selfish” motives and that her actions had “undermined the American public’s confidence in the presidential election.”

For her guilty plea, Ellis is set to endure 5 years of probation, a restitution of $5,000, 100 hours of community service, and cooperation with the state. Additionally, she manages to retain roughly $195,000, generously donated by conservatives who mistakenly believed she was a champion. Yet another “Trump turncoat” goes down. The sheer number of these liars and charlatans is off the charts at this point.
